Context of Isaiah 3:10
8Jerusalem staggers, Judah is falling; their words and deeds are against the Lord, defying his glorious presence. 9The look on their faces testifies against them; they parade their sin like Sodom; they do not hide it. Woe to them! They have brought disaster upon themselves. Tell the righteous it will be well with them, for they will enjoy the fruit of their deeds. 11Woe to the wicked! Disaster is upon them! They will be paid back for what their hands have done. 12Youths oppress my people, women rule over them. My people, your guides lead you astray; they turn you from the path.

- Adam Clarke Bible Commentary · v. 10Say ye to the righteous - לצדיק letsaddik, the ל lamed is added here by one MS. and the Chaldee. The righteous is the person, Who fears God. Departs from evil. Walks according to the testimony of God. And expects and prepares for a glorious immortality. "Pronounce ye." - The reading of this verse is very dubious. The Septuagint for אמרו imru read נאסר neasor, or both, נאסר אמרו imru neasor, and לנו טוב לא כי ki lo tob lanu . , ̔ ̔ . Perhaps, for אמרו…Read the comment
- Barnes’ Notes on the Bible · v. 10Say ye to the righteous - The meaning of this verse and the following is sufficiently plain, though expositors have given some variety of interpretation. They declare a great principle of the divine administration similar to what is stated in Isaiah 1:19-20. Lowth reads it, Pronounce ye a blessing on the just; verily good (shall be to him).‘ That it shall be well - The word rendered well,‘ means good.‘ The sense evidently is, that in the divine…Read the comment

He will call men to a strict account for all the wealth and power intrusted to and abused by them. If it is sinful to disregard the…Read the comment
