Context of Isaiah 3:10
8For Jerusalem will stumble, and Judah will fall, because they speak out against the Lord and refuse to obey him. They provoke him to his face. 9The very look on their faces gives them away. They display their sin like the people of Sodom and don’t even try to hide it. They are doomed! They have brought destruction upon themselves. Tell the godly that all will be well for them. They will enjoy the rich reward they have earned! 11But the wicked are doomed, for they will get exactly what they deserve. 12Childish leaders oppress my people, and women rule over them. O my people, your leaders mislead you; they send you down the wrong road.

- Adam Clarke Bible Commentary · v. 10Say ye to the righteous - לצדיק letsaddik, the ל lamed is added here by one MS. and the Chaldee. The righteous is the person, Who fears God. Departs from evil. Walks according to the testimony of God. And expects and prepares for a glorious immortality. "Pronounce ye." - The reading of this verse is very dubious. The Septuagint for אמרו imru read נאסר neasor, or both, נאסר אמרו imru neasor, and לנו טוב לא כי ki lo tob lanu . , ̔ ̔ . Perhaps, for אמרו…Read the comment
- Barnes’ Notes on the Bible · v. 10Say ye to the righteous - The meaning of this verse and the following is sufficiently plain, though expositors have given some variety of interpretation. They declare a great principle of the divine administration similar to what is stated in Isaiah 1:19-20. Lowth reads it, Pronounce ye a blessing on the just; verily good (shall be to him).‘ That it shall be well - The word rendered well,‘ means good.‘ The sense evidently is, that in the divine…Read the comment

Blessed be God, there is abundant encouragement to the righteous to trust in him, and for sinners to repent and return to him. It was time for the Lord to show his might. He will call men to a strict account for all the wealth and power intrusted to and abused by them. If it is sinful to disregard the…Read the comment
