Context of Acts 1:19
17for he was counted as one of us and received a share in this ministry.” 18(Now this man Judas acquired a field with the reward of his unjust deed, and falling headfirst he burst open in the middle and all his intestines gushed out. This became known to all who lived in Jerusalem, so that in their own language they called that field Hakeldama, that is, “Field of Blood.”) 20“For it is written in the book of Psalms, ‘Let his house become deserted, and let there be no one to live in it,’ and ‘Let another take his position of responsibility.’ 21Thus one of the men who have accompanied us during all the time the Lord Jesus associated with us,

- Adam Clarke Bible Commentary · v. 19It was known unto all the dwellers at Jerusalem - The repentance of Judas, his dying testimony in behalf of our Lord's innocence, and his tragical death, were publicly known, as was also the transaction about the purchase of the field, and hence arose the name by which at was publicly known. - Matthew Henry Concise Commentary · v. 15-26Verses 15-26 The great thing the apostles were to attest to the world, was, Christ's resurrection; for that was the great proof of his being the Messiah, and the foundation of our hope in him. The apostles were ordained, not to wordly dignity and dominion, but to preach Christ, and the power of his resurrection. An appeal was made to God; "Thou, Lord, who knowest the hearts of all men," which we do not; and better than they know their own. It is fit that…Read the comment

We can match the two accounts by understanding the priests' purchase of the “Field of Blood” as if they acted on behalf of Judas. Also, Judas may have killed himself by hanging, but he later fell headfirst. Then his body split open, possibly when the rope broke.Read the comment
