Context of 2 Timothy 3:15
13But evil people and charlatans will go from bad to worse, deceiving others and being deceived themselves. 14You, however, must continue in the things you have learned and are confident about. You know who taught you and how from infancy you have known the holy writings, which are able to give you wisdom for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. 16Every scripture is inspired by God and useful for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, 17that the person dedicated to God may be capable and equipped for every good work.

- Adam Clarke Bible Commentary · v. 15From a child thou hast known the Holy Scriptures - The early religious education of Timothy has been already sufficiently noticed; see 2 Timothy 1:5, and the preface to the first epistle. St. Paul introduces this circumstance again here for the confirmation of Timothy's faith.
