Titus 3:3-7

31For we also once were foolish ourselves, 2disobedient, 3deceived, 4enslaved to 5various lusts and pleasures, spending our life in 6malice and 7envy, hateful, hating one another.

4But when the 8kindness of 9God our Savior and His love for mankind 10appeared,

511He saved us, 12not on the basis of deeds which we have done in righteousness, but 13according to His mercy, by the 14washing of regeneration and 15renewing by the Holy Spirit,

616whom He poured out upon us 17richly through Jesus Christ our Savior,

7so that being justified by His grace we would be made 18heirs 19according to the hope of eternal life.
