2From the fruitמִפְּרִ֣יmi.pe.RiH6529of a man’sאִ֭ישׁ'ishH376mouthפִי־fi-H6310heenjoysיֹ֣אכַלYo.khalH398goodט֑וֹבTovH2896, But thedesireוְנֶ֖פֶשׁve.Ne.feshH5315of the treacherousבֹּגְדִ֣יםbo.ge.DimH898isviolenceחָמָֽס׃cha.MasH2555.

6Righteousnessצְ֭דָקָהTze.da.kahH6666guardsתִּצֹּ֣רti.TzorH5341theone whose wayדָּ֑רֶךְDa.rekhH1870is blamelessתָּם־tom-H8537,But wickednessוְ֝רִשְׁעָ֗הve.rish.'AhH7564subvertsתְּסַלֵּ֥ףte.sa.LefH5557thesinnerחַטָּֽאת׃cha.TatH2403.

7Thereיֵ֣שׁyeshH3426is one whopretendsH6238to be richH6238,but hasH369nothingכֹּ֑לKolH369 H3605; AnotherpretendsH7326to bepoorH7326,but has greatרָֽב׃RavH7227wealthוְה֣וֹןve.HonH1952.

8The ransomכֹּ֣פֶרKo.ferH3724of a man’sאִ֣ישׁ'ishH376lifeנֶֽפֶשׁ־ne.fesh-H5315is his wealthעָשְׁר֑וֹa.she.RoH6239,But the poorוְ֝רָ֗שׁve.RashH7326hearsשָׁמַ֥עsha.Ma'H8085noלֹא־lo'-H3808rebukeגְּעָרָֽה׃ge.'a.RahH1606.

9Thelightאוֹר־'or-H216of the righteousצַדִּיקִ֥יםtza.di.KimH6662rejoicesיִשְׂמָ֑חyis.MachH8055, But thelampוְנֵ֖רve.NerH5216of the wickedרְשָׁעִ֣יםre.sha.'ImH7563goesיִדְעָֽךְ׃yid.'AkhH1846out.

10Through insolenceבְּ֭זָדוֹןBe.za.donH2087comesיִתֵּ֣ןyi.TenH5414nothingH7534but strifeמַצָּ֑הma.TzahH4683,But wisdomחָכְמָֽה׃chokh.mahH2451is with those who receiveH3289counselH3289.

11Wealthה֭וֹןHonH1952obtained byfraudמֵהֶ֣בֶלme.He.velH1892dwindlesיִמְעָ֑טyim.'AtH4591,But the one who gathersוְקֹבֵ֖ץve.ko.VetzH6908by laborיָ֣דyadH3027increasesיַרְבֶּֽה׃yar.BehH7235it.
