19“Man is also chastenedוְהוּכַ֣חve.hu.KhachH3198withpainבְּ֭מַכְאוֹבBe.makh.'ovH4341on his bedמִשְׁכָּב֑וֹmish.ka.VoH4904,And with unceasingאֵתָֽן׃'e.TanH386complaintH7379in his bonesעֲצָמָ֣יו'a.tza.MavH6106;

20So that his lifeH2421loathesוְזִֽהֲמַ֣תּוּve.zi.ha.Ma.tuH2092breadלָ֑חֶםLa.chemH3899,And his soulוְ֝נַפְשׁ֗וֹve.naf.ShoH5315favoriteתַּאֲוָֽה׃ta.'a.VahH8378foodמַאֲכַ֥לma.'a.KhalH3978.

21Hisfleshבְּשָׂר֣וֹbe.sa.RoH1320wastesH3615awayיִ֣כֶלYi.khelH3615from sightמֵרֹ֑אִיme.Ro.'iH7210, And hisbonesעַ֝צְמוֹתָ֗יוatz.mo.TavH6106which were not seenH7210stickוְשֻׁפּ֥וּu.she.fiH8192out.

22Thenhis soulנַפְשׁ֑וֹnaf.ShoH5315drawsH7126nearH7126to the pitלַשַּׁ֣חַתla.Sha.chatH7845,And his lifeH2421to those who bringH4191deathלַֽמְמִתִֽים׃La.mi.TimH4191.

23“Ifאִם־'im-H518thereיֵ֤שׁyeshH3426is an angelמַלְאָ֗ךְmal.'AkhH4397asmediatorH3917for him,Oneאֶחָ֥ד'e.ChadH259out of a thousandאָ֑לֶף'A.lefH505,To remindלְהַגִּ֖ידle.ha.GidH5046a manלְאָדָ֣םle.'a.DamH120whatH3477isrightיָשְׁרֽוֹ׃ya.she.RoH3476for him,

24Then let him be graciousוַיְחֻנֶּ֗נּוּvay.chun.Ne.nuH2603to him, and sayוַיֹּ֗אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559, ‘Deliverפְּ֭דָעֵהוּPe.da.'e.huH6308him fromgoingH3381downמֵרֶ֥דֶתme.Re.detH3381to the pitשָׁ֗חַתSha.chatH7845,I have foundמָצָ֥אתִיma.Tza.tiH4672aransomכֹֽפֶר׃Kho.ferH3724’;

25Let his fleshבְּשָׂר֣וֹbe.sa.RoH1320becomeH7375fresherH7375thanH4480in youthמִנֹּ֑עַרmi.No.'arH5290,Let him returnיָ֝שׁ֗וּבya.ShuvH7725to the daysלִימֵ֥יli.MeiH3117of his youthfulH5934vigorH5934;

26Then he willprayיֶעְתַּ֤רye'.TarH6279to Godאֱל֨וֹהַּ׀'e.Lo.ahH433,and He will acceptוַיִּרְצֵ֗הוּvai.yir.Tze.huH7521him, Thathe may seeוַיַּ֣רְאvai.Yar'H7200His faceפָּ֭נָיוPa.navH6440with joyבִּתְרוּעָ֑הbit.ru.'AhH8643,And He may restoreוַיָּ֥שֶׁבvai.Ya.shevH7725His righteousnessצִדְקָתֽוֹ׃tzid.ka.ToH6666to manלֶ֝אֱנ֗וֹשׁle.'e.No.oshH582.
