3So they setוַיָּכִ֤ינוּvai.ya.Khi.nuH3559up the altarהַמִּזְבֵּ֙חַ֙ha.miz.Be.achH4196on its foundationמְכ֣וֹנֹתָ֔יוme.Kho.no.TavH4350, forthey were terrifiedבְּאֵימָ֣הbe.'ei.MahH367becauseH4480of the peoplesמֵעַמֵּ֖יme.'a.MeiH5971of the landsהָאֲרָצ֑וֹתha.'a.ra.TzotH776; and theyofferedוַיַּעֲל֨וּvai.ya.'alH5927burntעֹלוֹת֙'o.lOtH5930offeringsH5930on it to the Lordלַֽיהוָ֔הla.Yah.wehH3068,burntעֹל֖וֹתo.LotH5930offeringsH5930morningלַבֹּ֥קֶרla.Bo.kerH1242and eveningוְלָעָֽרֶב׃ve.la.'A.revH6153.

4They celebratedוַֽיַּעֲשׂ֛וּvai.ya.'a.SuH6213theFeastחַ֥גchagH2282ofBoothsהַסֻּכּ֖וֹתha.su.KotH5521,as it is writtenכַּכָּת֑וּבka.ka.TuvH3789, and offeredthe fixed numberבְּמִסְפָּ֔רbe.mis.ParH4557of burntוְעֹלַ֨תve.'o.LatH5930offeringsH5930dailyH3117,according to the ordinanceכְּמִשְׁפַּ֖טke.mish.PatH4941,as eachH3117dayH3117requiredדְּבַר־de.var-H1697;

5and afterwardוְאַחֲרֵיכֵ֞ןve.'a.cha.rei.KhenH310 H3651there was acontinualתָּמִיד֙ta.MidH8548burntעֹלַ֤ת'o.LatH5930offeringH5930, alsofor the newוְלֶ֣חֳדָשִׁ֔יםve.Le.cho.da.ShimH2320moonsH2320andfor allוּלְכָל־u.le.khol-H3605the fixedH4150festivalsH4150of the Lordיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068that were consecratedהַמְקֻדָּשִׁ֑יםham.ku.da.ShimH6942,and from everyoneוּלְכֹ֛לu.le.KholH3605who offeredמִתְנַדֵּ֥בmit.na.DevH5068a freewillנְדָבָ֖הne.da.VahH5071offeringH5071to the Lordלַיהוָֽה׃la.Yah.wehH3068.

7Then they gaveוַיִּ֨תְּנוּ־vai.Yi.te.nu-H5414moneyכֶ֔סֶףKhe.sefH3701to the masonsלַחֹצְבִ֖יםla.cho.tze.VimH2672and carpentersוְלֶחָרָשִׁ֑יםve.le.cha.ra.ShimH2796, andfoodוּמַאֲכָ֨לu.ma.'a.KhalH3978,drinkוּמִשְׁתֶּ֜הu.mish.TehH4960and oilוָשֶׁ֗מֶןva.She.menH8081to the Sidoniansלַצִּֽדֹנִים֙la.tzi.do.NimH6722and to the Tyriansוְלַצֹּרִ֔יםve.la.tzo.RimH6876,to bringלְהָבִיא֩le.ha.Vi'H935cedarאֲרָזִ֤ים'a.ra.ZimH730woodעֲצֵ֨י'a.TzeiH6086from Lebanonהַלְּבָנוֹן֙ha.le.va.nOnH3844to the seaיָ֣םyamH3220atJoppaיָפ֔וֹאya.Fo'H3305,according to the permissionכְּרִשְׁי֛וֹןke.rish.YonH7558they had fromCyrusכּ֥וֹרֶשׁKo.reshH3566kingמֶֽלֶךְ־Me.lekh-H4428of Persiaפָּרַ֖סpa.RasH6539.
