Mark 3:3-15
3He said to the man with the withered hand, “1Get up and come forward!” 4And He said to them, “Is it lawful to do good or to do harm on the Sabbath, to save a life or to kill?” But they kept silent. 5After 2looking around at them with anger, grieved at their hardness of heart, He said to the man, “Stretch out your hand.” And he stretched it out, and his hand was restored. 6The Pharisees went out and immediately began 3conspiring with the 4Herodians against Him, as to how they might destroy Him.
75Jesus withdrew to the sea with His disciples; and 6a great multitude from Galilee followed; and also from Judea, 8and from Jerusalem, and from 7Idumea, and beyond the Jordan, and the vicinity of 8Tyre and Sidon, a great number of people heard of all that He was doing and came to Him. 99And He told His disciples that a boat should stand ready for Him because of the crowd, so that they would not crowd Him; 10for He had 10healed many, with the result that all those who had 11afflictions pressed around Him in order to 12touch Him. 11Whenever the unclean spirits saw Him, they would fall down before Him and shout, “You are 13the Son of God!” 12And He 14earnestly warned them not to 15tell who He was.
13And He went up on 16the mountain and 17summoned those whom He Himself wanted, and they came to Him. 14And He appointed twelve, so that they would be with Him and that He could send them out to preach, 15and to have authority to cast out the demons.
