Leviticus 24:17-22

17‘1If a man 2takes the life of any human being, he shall surely be put to death.

183The one who 4takes the life of an animal shall make it good, life for life.

19If a man 5injures his neighbor, just as he has done, so it shall be done to him:

206fracture for fracture, 7eye for eye, tooth for tooth; just as he has 8injured a man, so it shall be 9inflicted on him.

21Thus the one who 10kills an animal shall make it good, but 11the one who 12kills a man shall be put to death.

22There shall be 13one 14standard for you; it shall be for the stranger as well as the native, for I am the Lord your God.’”
