Jeremiah 27:1-5
In the beginning of the reign of 12Zedekiah the son of Josiah, king of Judah, this word came to Jeremiah from the Lord, saying--
thus says the Lord to me-Make for yourself 3bonds and 4yokes and put them on your neck,
and send 5word to the king of 6Edom, to the king of 7Moab, to the king of the sons of 8Ammon, to the king of 9Tyre and to the king of 10Sidon 11by the messengers who come to Jerusalem to Zedekiah king of Judah.
Command them to go to their masters, saying, ‘Thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel, thus you shall say to your masters,
“12I have made the earth, the men and the beasts which are on the face of the earth 13by My great power and by My outstretched arm, and I will 14give it to the one who is 15pleasing in My sight.
