Jeremiah 2:10-13
10For 1cross to the coastlands of 2Kittim and see, And send to 3Kedar and observe closely And see if there has been such a thing as this!11Has a nation changed gods When 4they were not gods? But My people have 5changed their glory For that which does not profit.12Be appalled, 6O heavens, at this, And shudder, be very desolate,” declares the Lord.13“For My people have committed two evils: They have forsaken Me, The 7fountain of living waters, To hew for themselves 8cisterns, Broken cisterns That can hold no water.
