Hosea 8:11-14
11Since Ephraim has 1multiplied altars for sin, They have become altars of sinning for him.12Though 2I wrote for him ten thousand precepts of My 3law, They are regarded as a strange thing.13As for My 4sacrificial gifts, They 5sacrifice the flesh and eat it, But the Lord has taken no delight in them. Now He will 6remember their iniquity, And 7punish them for their sins; They will return to 8Egypt.14For Israel has 9forgotten his Maker and 10built palaces; And Judah has multiplied fortified cities, But I will send a 11fire on its cities that it may consume its palatial dwellings.
