Hosea 2:6-8
6Therefore, behold, I will 1hedge up 2her way with 3thorns, And I will build 4a wall against her so that she cannot find her 5paths.7She will 6pursue her lovers, but she will not overtake them; And she will seek them, but will not find them. Then she will say, ‘7I will go back to my 8first husband, For it was 9better for me then than now!’
8“For she does 10not know that it was 11I who gave her the grain, the new wine and the oil, And lavished on her silver and gold, Which they 12used for Baal.
