Ezekiel 1:5-12
Within it there were figures resembling 1four living beings. And this was their appearance: they had human 2form.
Each of them had 3four faces and 4four wings.
Their legs were straight and 5their feet were like a calf’s hoof, and they gleamed like 6burnished bronze.
Under their wings on their 7four sides were human 8hands. As for the faces and wings of the four of them,
their wings touched one another; their faces did 9not turn when they moved, each 10went straight forward.
As for the 11form of their faces, each had the 12face of a man; 13all four had the face of a lion on the right and the face of a bull on the left, and 14all four had the face of an eagle.
Such were their faces. Their wings were spread out above; each had two touching another being, and 15two covering their bodies.
And 16each went straight forward; 17wherever the spirit was about to go, they would go, without turning as they went.
