Colossians 1:16-18

16For 12by Him all things were created, 3both in the heavens and on earth, visible and invisible, whether 4thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities--5all things have been created through Him and for Him.

17He 67is before all things, and in Him all things 8hold together.

18He is also 9head of 10the body, the church; and He is 11the beginning, 12the firstborn from the dead, so that He Himself will come to have first place in everything.
