Colossians 1:1-8

1 1Paul, 2an apostle of Jesus Christ 3 4by the will of God, and 5Timothy 6our brother,

2To the 7 8saints and faithful brethren in Christ who are at Colossae: 9Grace to you and peace from God our Father.

3 10We give thanks to God, 11the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, praying always for you, 4 12since we heard of your faith in Christ Jesus and the 13love which you have 14for 15all the 16saints; 5because of the 17hope 18laid up for you in 19heaven, of which you previously 20heard in the word of truth, 21the gospel 6which has come to you, just as 22 23in all the world also it is constantly bearing 24fruit and 25increasing, even as it has been doing in you also since the day you 26heard of it and 27understood the grace of God in truth; 7just as you learned it from 28Epaphras, our 29beloved fellow bond-servant, who is a faithful servant of Christ on our behalf, 8and he also informed us of your 30love in the Spirit.
