1 Kings 16:24-26
24He bought the hill 1Samaria from Shemer for two talents of silver; and he built on the hill, and named the city which he built 23Samaria, after the name of Shemer, the owner of the hill.
254Omri did evil in the sight of the Lord, and 5acted more wickedly than all who were before him. 26For he 6walked in all the way of Jeroboam the son of Nebat and in his sins which he made Israel sin, provoking the Lord God of Israel with their 7idols.
