1 Corinthians 15:54-57
54But when this 1perishable will have put on 2the imperishable, and this mortal will have put on immortality, then will come about the saying that is written, “3Death is swallowed up in victory. 554O death, where is your victory? O death, where is your sting?” 56The sting of 5death is sin, and 6the power of sin is the law; 57but 7thanks be to God, who gives us the 8victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
