5Speakאֱמֹר֙'e.MorH559unto all the peopleעַ֣ם'amH5971of the landהָאָ֔רֶץha.'A.retzH776,and to the priestsהַכֹּהֲנִ֖יםha.ko.ha.NimH3548,sayingלֵאמֹ֑רle.MorH559,When ye fastedצַמְתֶּ֨םtzam.TemH6684and mournedוְסָפ֜וֹדve.sa.FodH5594in the fifthבַּחֲמִישִׁ֣יba.cha.mi.ShiH2549and seventhוּבַשְּׁבִיעִ֗יu.va.she.vi.'IH7637month,even those seventyשִׁבְעִ֣יםshiv.'ImH7657yearsשָׁנָ֔הsha.NahH8141,did ye at allהֲצ֥וֹםha.TzomH6684fastצַמְתֻּ֖נִיtzam.Tu.niH6684unto me, even to me?
7Should ye not hearthe wordsהַדְּבָרִ֗יםha.de.va.RimH1697which the Lordיְהוָה֙Yah.wehH3068hath criedקָרָ֤אka.Ra'H7121byבְּיַד֙be.YadH3027the formerהָרִֽאשֹׁנִ֔יםha.ri.sho.NimH7223prophetsהַנְּבִיאִ֣יםha.ne.vi.'ImH5030,when Jerusalemיְרוּשָׁלִַ֙ם֙ye.ru.sha.LimH3389was inhabitedיֹשֶׁ֣בֶתyo.She.vetH3427and in prosperityוּשְׁלֵוָ֔הu.she.le.VahH7961,and the citiesוְעָרֶ֖יהָve.'a.Rei.haH5892thereof round about herסְבִיבֹתֶ֑יהָse.vi.vo.Tei.haH5439, when meninhabitedיֹשֵֽׁב׃ פyo.ShevH3427the southוְהַנֶּ֥גֶבve.ha.Ne.gevH5045and the plainוְהַשְּׁפֵלָ֖הve.ha.she.fe.LahH8219?
9Thus speakethאָמַ֛ר'a.MarH559the Lordיְהוָ֥הYah.wehH3068of hostsצְבָא֖וֹתtze.va.'otH6635,sayingלֵאמֹ֑רle.MorH559,Executeשְׁפֹ֔טוּshe.Fo.tuH8199trueאֱמֶת֙'e.MetH571judgmentמִשְׁפַּ֤טmish.PatH4941,and shewעֲשׂ֖וּ'a.SuH6213mercyוְחֶ֣סֶדve.Che.sedH2617and compassionsוְרַֽחֲמִ֔יםve.ra.cha.MimH7356every manאִ֥ישׁ'ishH376to his brotherאָחִֽיו׃'a.ChivH251:
10And oppressתַּעֲשֹׁ֑קוּta.'a.Sho.kuH6231not the widowוְאַלְמָנָ֧הve.'al.ma.NahH490,nor the fatherlessוְיָת֛וֹםve.ya.TomH3490,the strangerגֵּ֥רgerH1616,nor the poorוְעָנִ֖יve.'a.NiH6041;and let none of you imagineתַּחְשְׁב֖וּtach.she.VuH2803evilוְרָעַת֙ve.ra.'AtH7451againstאִ֣ישׁ'ishH376his brotherאָחִ֔יו'a.ChivH251in your heartבִּלְבַבְכֶֽם׃bil.vav.KhemH3824.
11But they refusedוַיְמָאֲנ֣וּvay.ma.'a.NuH3985to hearkenלְהַקְשִׁ֔יבle.hak.ShivH7181,and pulled awayוַיִּתְּנ֥וּ סֹרָ֑רֶתvai.yi.te.Nu so.Ra.retH5637H5414the shoulderכָתֵ֖ףkha.TefH3802,and stoppedהִכְבִּ֥ידוּhikh.Bi.duH3513their earsוְאָזְנֵיהֶ֖םve.'a.ze.nei.HemH241,that they should not hearמִשְּׁמֽוֹעַ׃mi.she.Mo.a'H8085.
