15And she saidוַתֹּ֣אמֶרva.To.merH559unto him, Howאֵ֚יךְ'eikhH349canst thou sayתֹּאמַ֣רto.MarH559,I loveאֲהַבְתִּ֔יךְ'a.hav.TikhH157thee, when thine heartוְלִבְּךָ֖ve.li.be.KhaH3820isnot with me? thou hast mockedהֵתַ֣לְתָּhe.Tal.taH2048me these threeשָׁלֹ֤שׁsha.LoshH7969timesפְּעָמִים֙pe.'a.MimH6471,and hast not toldהִגַּ֣דְתָּhi.Gad.taH5046me wherein thy greatגָדֽוֹל׃ga.DolH1419strengthכֹּחֲךָ֥ko.cha.KhaH3581lieth.

16And it came to pass, when she pressedהֵצִ֨יקָהhe.Tzi.kahH6693him dailyהַיָּמִ֖יםhai.ya.MimH3117with her wordsבִדְבָרֶ֛יהָvid.va.Rei.haH1697,and urgedוַתְּאַֽלֲצֵ֑הוּva.te.'a.la.Tze.huH509him, sothat his soulנַפְשׁ֖וֹnaf.ShoH5315was vexedוַתִּקְצַ֥רva.tik.TzarH7114unto deathלָמֽוּת׃la.MutH4191;

17That he toldוַיַּגֶּד־vai.ya.ged-H5046her all his heartלִבּ֗וֹli.BoH3820,and saidוַיֹּ֤אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559unto her, There hath not comeעָלָ֣ה'a.LahH5927a razorמוֹרָה֙mo.RahH4177upon mine headרֹאשִׁ֔יro.ShiH7218; for I have beena Nazariteנְזִ֧ירne.ZirH5139unto Godאֱלֹהִ֛ים'E.lo.HimH430from my mother’sאִמִּ֑י'i.MiH517wombמִבֶּ֣טֶןmi.Be.tenH990:if I be shavenגֻּלַּ֙חְתִּי֙gu.Lach.tiH1548,then my strengthכֹחִ֔יkho.ChiH3581will goוְסָ֣רve.SarH5493from me, and I shall become weakוְחָלִ֥יתִיve.cha.Li.tiH2470, and be like any othermanהָאָדָֽם׃ha.'a.DamH120.

18And when Delilahדְלִילָ֗הde.li.LahH1807sawוַתֵּ֣רֶאva.Te.re'H7200that he had toldהִגִּ֣ידhi.GidH5046her all his heartלִבּוֹ֒li.BoH3820,she sentוַתִּשְׁלַ֡חva.tish.LachH7971and calledוַתִּקְרָא֩va.tik.Ra'H7121for the lordsלְסַרְנֵ֨יle.sar.NeiH5633of the Philistinesפְלִשְׁתִּ֤יםfe.lish.TimH6430,sayingלֵאמֹר֙le.MorH559,Come upעֲל֣וּ'a.LuH5927this onceהַפַּ֔עַםha.Pa.'amH6471,for he hath shewedהִגִּ֥ידhi.GidH5046me all his heartלִבּ֑וֹli.BoH3820.Then the lordsסַרְנֵ֣יsar.NeiH5633of the Philistinesפְלִשְׁתִּ֔יםfe.lish.TimH6430came upוְעָל֤וּve.'a.LuH5927unto her, and broughtוַיַּעֲל֥וּvai.ya.'a.LuH5927moneyהַכֶּ֖סֶףha.Ke.sefH3701in their handבְּיָדָֽם׃be.ya.DamH3027.

19And she made him sleepוַתְּיַשְּׁנֵ֙הוּ֙va.te.ya.she.Ne.huH3462upon her kneesבִּרְכֶּ֔יהָbir.Kei.haH1290;and she calledוַתִּקְרָ֣אva.tik.Ra'H7121for a manלָאִ֔ישׁla.'IshH376,and she caused him to shave offוַתְּגַלַּ֕חva.te.ga.LachH1548the sevenשֶׁ֖בַעShe.va'H7651locksמַחְלְפ֣וֹתmach.le.FotH4253of his headרֹאשׁ֑וֹro.ShoH7218;and she beganוַתָּ֙חֶל֙va.Ta.chelH2490to afflictלְעַנּוֹת֔וֹle.'a.no.ToH6031him, and his strengthכֹּח֖וֹko.ChoH3581wentוַיָּ֥סַרvai.Ya.sarH5493from him.

20And she saidוַתֹּ֕אמֶרva.To.merH559,The Philistinesפְּלִשְׁתִּ֥יםpe.lish.TimH6430beupon thee, Samsonשִׁמְשׁ֑וֹןshim.ShonH8123.And he awokeוַיִּקַ֣ץvai.yi.KatzH3364out of his sleepמִשְּׁנָת֗וֹmi.she.na.ToH8142,and saidוַיֹּ֙אמֶר֙vai.Yo.merH559,I will go outאֵצֵ֞א'e.Tze'H3318as at other times beforeH6471,and shakeוְאִנָּעֵ֔רve.'i.na.'ErH5287myself. And he wistיָדַ֔עya.Da'H3045not that the Lordיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068was departedסָ֥רsarH5493from him.

21But the Philistinesפְלִשְׁתִּ֔יםfe.lish.TimH6430tookוַיֹּאחֲז֣וּהוּvai.yo.cha.Zu.huH270him, and put outוַֽיְנַקְּר֖וּvay.na.ke.RuH5365his eyesעֵינָ֑יו'ei.NavH5869,and brought him downוַיּוֹרִ֨ידוּvai.yo.Ri.duH3381to Gazaעַזָּ֗תָה'a.Za.tahH5804,and boundוַיַּאַסְר֙וּהוּ֙vai.ya.'as.Ru.huH631him with fetters of brassבַּֽנְחֻשְׁתַּ֔יִםban.chush.Ta.yimH5178;and he did grindטוֹחֵ֖ןto.ChenH2912in the prisonהָאֲסוּרִֽים׃ha.'a.si.rimH631houseבְּבֵ֥יתbe.VeitH1004.

22Howbeit the hairשְׂעַר־se.'ar-H8181of his headרֹאשׁ֛וֹro.ShoH7218beganוַיָּ֧חֶלvai.Ya.chelH2490to grow againלְצַמֵּ֖חַle.tza.Me.achH6779afterכַּאֲשֶׁ֥רka.'a.SherH834he was shavenגֻּלָּֽח׃ פgu.LachH1548.

23Then the lordsוְסַרְנֵ֣יve.sar.NeiH5633of the Philistinesפְלִשְׁתִּ֗יםfe.lish.TimH6430gathered them togetherנֶֽאֱסְפוּ֙ne.'es.FuH622for to offerלִזְבֹּ֧חַliz.Bo.achH2076a greatגָּד֛וֹלga.DolH1419sacrificeזֶֽבַח־ze.vach-H2077unto Dagonלְדָג֥וֹןle.da.GonH1712their godאֱלֹהֵיהֶ֖ם'e.lo.hei.HemH430,and to rejoiceוּלְשִׂמְחָ֑הu.le.sim.ChahH8057:for they saidוַיֹּ֣אמְר֔וּvai.Yo.me.RuH559,Our godאֱלֹהֵ֙ינוּ֙'e.lo.Hei.nuH430hath deliveredנָתַ֤ןna.TanH5414Samsonשִׁמְשׁ֥וֹןshim.ShonH8123our enemyאוֹיְבֵֽינוּ׃'oy.Vei.nuH341into our handבְּיָדֵ֔נוּbe.ya.De.nuH3027.

24And when the peopleהָעָ֔םha.'AmH5971sawוַיִּרְא֤וּvai.yir.'UH7200him, they praisedוַֽיְהַלְל֖וּvay.ha.LuH1984their godאֱלֹהֵיהֶ֑ם'e.lo.hei.HemH430:for they saidאָמְר֗וּ'a.me.RuH559,Our godאֱלֹהֵ֤ינוּ'e.lo.Hei.nuH430hath deliveredנָתַ֨ןna.TanH5414into our handsבְיָדֵ֙נוּ֙ve.ya.De.nuH3027our enemyא֣וֹיְבֵ֔נוּ'oy.Ve.nuH341,and the destroyerמַחֲרִ֣יבma.cha.RivH2717of our countryאַרְצֵ֔נוּ'ar.Tze.nuH776,which slewחֲלָלֵֽינוּ׃cha.la.Lei.nuH2491manyהִרְבָּ֖הhir.BahH7235of us.

25And it came to pass, when their heartsלִבָּ֔םli.BamH3820were merryH2896,that they saidוַיֹּ֣אמְר֔וּvai.Yo.me.RuH559,Callקִרְא֥וּkir.'UH7121for Samsonלְשִׁמְשׁ֖וֹןle.shim.ShonH8123,that he may make us sportוִישַֽׂחֶק־vi.sa.chek-H7832.And they calledוַיִּקְרְא֨וּvai.yik.re.'UH7121for Samsonלְשִׁמְשׁ֜וֹןle.shim.ShonH8123out of the prisonהָאֲסוּרִ֗יםha.'a.si.rimH631houseמִבֵּ֣יתmi.BeitH1004;and he made themלִפְנֵיהֶ֔םlif.nei.HemH6440sportוַיְצַחֵק֙vay.tza.ChekH6711:and they setוַיַּעֲמִ֥ידוּvai.ya.'a.Mi.duH5975him between the pillarsהָעַמּוּדִֽים׃ha.'a.mu.DimH5982.

26And Samsonשִׁמְשׁ֜וֹןshim.ShonH8123saidוַיֹּ֨אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559unto the ladהַנַּ֨עַרha.Na.'arH5288that heldהַמַּחֲזִ֣יקha.ma.cha.ZikH2388him by the handבְּיָדוֹ֮be.ya.DoH3027,SufferH3240me that I may feelוַהֲמִשֵׁ֙נִי֙va.hei.mi.she.niH3237 H4184the pillarsהָֽעַמֻּדִ֔יםha.'a.mu.DimH5982whereupon the houseהַבַּ֖יִתha.Ba.yitH1004standethנָכ֣וֹןna.KhonH3559,that I may leanוְאֶשָּׁעֵ֖ןve.'e.sha.'EnH8172upon them.

27Now the houseוְהַבַּ֗יִתve.ha.Ba.yitH1004was fullמָלֵ֤אma.Le'H4390of menהָֽאֲנָשִׁים֙ha.'a.na.ShimH582and womenוְהַנָּשִׁ֔יםve.ha.na.ShimH802;and all the lordsסַרְנֵ֣יsar.NeiH5633of the Philistinesפְלִשְׁתִּ֑יםfe.lish.TimH6430were there; and there wereupon the roofהַגָּ֗גha.GagH1406about threeכִּשְׁלֹ֤שֶׁתkish.Lo.shetH7969thousandאֲלָפִים֙'a.la.FimH505menאִ֣ישׁ'ishH376and womenוְאִשָּׁ֔הve.'i.ShahH802,that beheldהָרֹאִ֖יםha.ro.'ImH7200while Samsonשִׁמְשֽׁוֹן׃shim.ShonH8123made sportבִּשְׂח֥וֹקbis.ChokH7832.

28And Samsonשִׁמְשׁ֛וֹןshim.ShonH8123calledוַיִּקְרָ֥אvai.yik.Ra'H7121unto the Lordיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068,and saidוַיֹּאמַ֑רvai.yo.MarH559,O Lordאֲדֹנָ֣י'a.do.NaiH136Godיֱהֹוִ֡הYah.wehH3069,rememberזָכְרֵ֣נִיza.khe.Re.niH2142me, I pray thee, and strengthenוְחַזְּקֵ֨נִיve.cha.ze.Ke.niH2388me, I pray thee, only this onceהַפַּ֤עַםha.Pa.'amH6471,O Godהָאֱלֹהִ֔יםha.'E.lo.HimH430,that I may be at onceאַחַ֛ת'a.ChatH259avengedוְאִנָּקְמָ֧ה נְקַם־ve.'i.na.ke.Mah ne.kam-H5359 H5358of the Philistinesמִפְּלִשְׁתִּֽים׃mi.pe.lish.TimH6430for my twoמִשְּׁתֵ֥יmi.she.TeiH8147eyesעֵינַ֖י'ei.NaiH5869.

29And Samsonשִׁמְשׁ֜וֹןshim.ShonH8123took holdוַיִּלְפֹּ֨תvai.yil.PotH3943of the twoשְׁנֵ֣י׀she.NeiH8147middleהַתָּ֗וֶךְha.Ta.vekhH8432pillarsעַמּוּדֵ֣י'a.mu.DeiH5982upon which the houseהַבַּ֙יִת֙ha.Ba.yitH1004stoodנָכ֣וֹןna.KhonH3559,and on which it was borne upוַיִּסָּמֵ֖ךְvai.yi.sa.MekhH5564,of the oneאֶחָ֥ד'e.ChadH259with his right handבִּימִינ֖וֹbi.mi.NoH3225,and of the otherוְאֶחָ֥דve.'e.ChadH259with his leftבִּשְׂמֹאלֽוֹ׃bis.mo.LoH8040.

30And Samsonשִׁמְשׁ֗וֹןshim.ShonH8123saidוַיֹּ֣אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559,Let me dieתָּמ֣וֹת נַפְשִׁי֮ta.Mot naf.ShiH5315 H4191with the Philistinesפְּלִשְׁתִּים֒pe.lish.TimH6430.And he bowedוַיֵּ֣טvai.YetH5186himself with all hismightבְּכֹ֔חַbe.Kho.achH3581;and the houseהַבַּ֙יִת֙ha.Ba.yitH1004fellוַיִּפֹּ֤לvai.yi.PolH5307upon the lordsהַסְּרָנִ֔יםha.se.ra.NimH5633,and upon all the peopleהָעָ֖םha.'AmH5971that weretherein. So the deadהַמֵּתִים֙ha.me.TimH4191which he slewהֵמִ֣יתhe.MitH4191at his deathבְּמוֹת֔וֹbe.mo.ToH4194were moreרַבִּ֕יםra.BimH7227than theywhich he slewהֵמִ֖יתhe.MitH4191in his lifeבְּחַיָּֽיו׃be.chai.YavH2416.
