16So Joshuaיְהוֹשֻׁ֜עַye.ho.Shu.a'H3091tookוַיִּקַּ֨חvai.yi.KachH3947all that landהָאָ֣רֶץha.'A.retzH776,the hillsהָהָ֤רha.HarH2022,and all the south countryהַנֶּ֙גֶב֙ha.Ne.gevH5045,and all the landאֶ֣רֶץ'E.retzH776of Goshenהַגֹּ֔שֶׁןha.Go.shenH1657,and the valleyהַשְּׁפֵלָ֖הha.she.fe.LahH8219,and the plainהָעֲרָבָ֑הha.'a.ra.VahH6160,and the mountainהַ֥רharH2022of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֖לYis.ra.'ElH3478,and the valleyוּשְׁפֵלָתֹֽה׃u.she.fe.la.TohH8219of the same;

17Evenfrom the mountהָהָ֤רha.HarH2022Halakהֶֽחָלָק֙he.cha.LakH2510,that goeth upהָעוֹלֶ֣הha.'o.LehH5927to Seirשֵׂעִ֔ירse.'IrH8165,even unto Baal–gadH1171in the valleyבְּבִקְעַ֣תbe.vik.'AtH1237of Lebanonהַלְּבָנ֔וֹןha.le.va.NonH3844under mountהַר־har-H2022Hermonחֶרְמ֑וֹןcher.MonH2768:and all their kingsמַלְכֵיהֶם֙mal.khei.HemH4428he tookלָכַ֔דla.KhadH3920,and smoteוַיַּכֵּ֖םvai.ya.KemH5221them, and slewוַיְמִיתֵֽם׃vay.mi.TemH4191them.

19There was not a cityעִ֗יר'IrH5892that made peaceהִשְׁלִ֙ימָה֙hish.Li.mahH7999with the childrenבְּנֵ֣יbe.NeiH1121of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֔לYis.ra.'ElH3478,save the Hivitesהַחִוִּ֖יha.chi.ViH2340the inhabitantsיֹשְׁבֵ֣יyo.she.VeiH3427of Gibeonגִבְע֑וֹןgiv.'onH1391: all otherthey tookלָקְח֥וּla.ke.ChuH3947in battleבַמִּלְחָמָֽה׃va.mil.cha.MahH4421.
