7And when I shall put thee outבְכַבּֽוֹתְךָ֙ve.kha.bot.KhaH3518,I will coverוְכִסֵּיתִ֤יve.khi.sei.TiH3680the heavenשָׁמַ֔יִםsha.Ma.yimH8064,and makeH6937the starsכֹּֽכְבֵיהֶ֑םko.khe.vei.HemH3556thereof darkH6937;I will coverאֲכַסֶּ֔נּוּ'a.kha.Se.nuH3680the sunשֶׁ֚מֶשׁShe.meshH8121with a cloudבֶּעָנָ֣ןbe.'a.NanH6051,and the moonוְיָרֵ֖חַve.ya.Re.achH3394shall not giveיָאִ֥ירya.'IrH215her lightאוֹרֽוֹ׃'o.RoH216.

8All the brightמְא֤וֹרֵיme.'o.reiH3974lightsאוֹר֙'OrH216of heavenבַּשָּׁמַ֔יִםba.sha.Ma.yimH8064will I make darkאַקְדִּירֵ֖ם'ak.di.RemH6937over thee, and setוְנָתַ֤תִּיve.na.Ta.tiH5414darknessחֹ֙שֶׁךְ֙cho.shekhH2822upon thy landאַרְצְךָ֔'ar.tze.KhaH776,saithנְאֻ֖םne.'UmH5002the Lordאֲדֹנָ֥י'a.do.NaiH136Godיְהוִֽה׃Yah.wehH3069.

9I will also vexוְהִ֨כְעַסְתִּ֔יve.Hikh.'as.TiH3707the heartsלֵ֖בlevH3820of manyרַבִּ֑יםra.BimH7227peopleעַמִּ֣ים'a.MimH5971,when I shall bringבַּהֲבִיאִ֤יba.ha.vi.'IH935thy destructionשִׁבְרְךָ֙shiv.re.KhaH7667among the nationsבַּגּוֹיִ֔םba.go.YimH1471,into the countriesאֲרָצ֖וֹת'a.ra.TzotH776which thou hast not knownיְדַעְתָּֽם׃ye.da'.TamH3045.

10Yea, I will make manyרַבִּ֗יםra.BimH7227peopleעַמִּ֣ים'a.MimH5971amazedוַהֲשִׁמּוֹתִ֨יva.ha.shi.mo.TiH8074at thee, and their kingsוּמַלְכֵיהֶם֙u.mal.khei.HemH4428shall be horriblyשַׂ֔עַרSa.'arH8178afraidיִשְׂעֲר֤וּyis.'a.RuH8175for thee, when I shall brandishבְּעוֹפְפִ֥יbe.'o.FiH5774my swordחַרְבִּ֖יchar.BiH2719before themפְּנֵיהֶ֑םpe.nei.HemH6440;and they shall trembleוְחָרְד֤וּve.cha.re.DuH2729at everymomentלִרְגָעִים֙lir.ga.'ImH7281,every manאִ֣ישׁ'ishH376for his own lifeלְנַפְשׁ֔וֹle.naf.ShoH5315,in the dayבְּי֖וֹםbe.YomH3117of thy fallמַפַּלְתֶּֽךָ׃ סma.pal.Te.khaH4658.

11For thus saithאָמַ֖ר'a.MarH559the Lordאֲדֹנָ֣י'a.do.NaiH136Godיְהוִ֑הYah.wehH3069;The swordחֶ֥רֶבChe.revH2719of the kingמֶֽלֶךְ־Me.lekh-H4428of Babylonבָּבֶ֖לba.VelH894shall comeתְּבוֹאֶֽךָ׃te.vo.'E.khaH935upon thee.

12By the swordsבְּחַרְב֤וֹתbe.char.VotH2719of the mightyגִּבּוֹרִים֙gi.bo.RimH1368will I cause thy multitudeהֲמוֹנֶ֔ךָha.mo.Ne.khaH1995to fallאַפִּ֣יל'a.PilH5307,the terribleעָרִיצֵ֥י'a.ri.TzeiH6184of the nationsגוֹיִ֖םgo.YimH1471,all of them: and they shall spoilוְשָֽׁדְדוּ֙ve.sha.de.DuH7703the pompגְּא֣וֹןge.'onH1347of Egyptמִצְרַ֔יִםmitz.Ra.yimH4714,and all the multitudeהֲמוֹנָֽהּ׃ha.mo.NahH1995thereof shall be destroyedוְנִשְׁמַ֖דve.nish.MadH8045.

13I will destroyוְהַֽאֲבַדְתִּי֙ve.ha.'a.vad.TiH6also all the beastsבְּהֶמְתָּ֔הּbe.hem.TahH929thereof fromמֵעַ֖לme.'AlH5921beside the greatרַבִּ֑יםra.BimH7227watersמַ֣יִםMa.yimH4325;neither shall the footרֶֽגֶל־re.gel-H7272of manאָדָם֙'a.DamH120troubleתִדְלָחֵ֤םtid.la.ChemH1804them any more, nor the hoofsוּפַרְס֥וֹתu.far.SotH6541of beastsבְּהֵמָ֖הbe.he.MahH929troubleתִדְלָחֵֽם׃tid.la.ChemH1804them.

14Then will I make their watersמֵֽימֵיהֶ֔םmei.mei.HemH4325deepאַשְׁקִ֣יעַ'ash.Ki.a'H8257,and cause their riversוְנַהֲרוֹתָ֖םve.na.ha.ro.TamH5104to runH3212like oilכַּשֶּׁ֣מֶןka.She.menH8081,saithנְאֻ֖םne.'UmH5002the Lordאֲדֹנָ֥י'a.do.NaiH136Godיְהוִֽה׃Yah.wehH3069.

15When I shall makeבְּתִתִּי֩be.ti.TiH5414the landאֶ֨רֶץ'E.retzH776of Egyptמִצְרַ֜יִםmitz.Ra.yimH4714desolateשְׁמָמָ֣הshe.ma.MahH8077,and the countryאֶ֚רֶץ'E.retzH776shall be destituteוּנְשַׁמָּ֗הu.ne.sha.MahH8074of that whereof it was fullמִמְּלֹאָ֔הּmi.me.lo.'AhH4393,when I shall smiteבְּהַכּוֹתִ֖יbe.ha.ko.TiH5221all them that dwellי֣וֹשְׁבֵיYo.o.she.veiH3427therein, then shall they knowוְיָדְע֖וּve.ya.de.'UH3045that I amthe Lordיְהוָֽה׃Yah.wehH3068.

16This isthe lamentationקִינָ֥הki.NahH7015wherewith they shall lamentוְק֣וֹנְנ֔וּהָve.Ko.Nu.haH6969her: the daughtersבְּנ֥וֹתbe.NotH1323of the nationsהַגּוֹיִ֖םha.go.YimH1471shall lamentתְּקוֹנֵ֣נָּהte.ko.Ne.nahH6969her: they shall lamentתְּקוֹנֵ֣נָּהte.ko.Ne.nahH6969for her, evenfor Egyptמִצְרַ֤יִםmitz.Ra.yimH4714,and for all her multitudeהֲמוֹנָהּ֙ha.mo.NahH1995,saithנְאֻ֖םne.'UmH5002the Lordאֲדֹנָ֥י'a.do.NaiH136Godיְהוִֽה׃ פYah.wehH3069.

17It came to pass also in the twelfthבִּשְׁתֵּ֣י עֶשְׂרֵ֣הbish.Tei 'es.RehH6240 H8147yearשָׁנָ֔הsha.NahH8141,in the fifteenthבַּחֲמִשָּׁ֥ה עָשָׂ֖רba.cha.mi.Shah 'a.SarH6240 H2568dayof the monthלַחֹ֑דֶשׁla.Cho.deshH2320, thatthe wordדְבַר־de.var-H1697of the Lordיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068came unto me, sayingלֵאמֹֽר׃le.MorH559,

18Sonבֶּן־ben-H1121of manאָדָ֕ם'a.DamH120,wailנְהֵ֛הne.HehH5091for the multitudeהֲמ֥וֹןha.MonH1995of Egyptמִצְרַ֖יִםmitz.Ra.yimH4714,and cast them downוְהוֹרִדֵ֑הוּve.ho.ri.De.huH3381, evenher, and the daughtersוּבְנ֨וֹתu.ve.NotH1323of the famousאַדִּרִ֛ם'a.di.RimH117nationsגּוֹיִ֧םgo.YimH1471,unto the nether partsתַּחְתִּיּ֖וֹתtach.ti.YotH8482of the earthאֶ֥רֶץ'E.retzH776,with them that go downי֥וֹרְדֵיYor.deiH3381into the pitבֽוֹר׃VorH953.

19Whom dost thou pass in beautyנָעָ֑מְתָּna.'A.me.taH5276?go downרְדָ֥הre.DahH3381,and be thou laidוְהָשְׁכְּבָ֖הve.ha.she.ke.VahH7901with the uncircumcisedעֲרֵלִֽים׃'a.re.LimH6189.

20They shall fallיִפֹּ֑לוּyi.Po.luH5307in the midstבְּת֥וֹךְbe.TokhH8432of them that areslainחַלְלֵי־cha.lei-H2491by the swordחֶ֖רֶבChe.revH2719:she is deliveredנִתָּ֔נָהni.Ta.nahH5414to the swordחֶ֣רֶבChe.revH2719:drawמָשְׁכ֥וּma.she.KhuH4900her and all her multitudesהֲמוֹנֶֽיהָ׃ha.mo.Nei.haH1995.
