6And in the endוּלְקֵ֤ץu.le.KetzH7093of yearsשָׁנִים֙sha.NimH8141they shall join themselves togetherיִתְחַבָּ֔רוּyit.cha.Ba.ruH2266;for the king’sמֶֽלֶךְ־Me.lekh-H4428daughterוּבַ֣תu.VatH1323of the southהַנֶּ֗גֶבha.Ne.gevH5045shall comeתָּבוֹא֙ta.Vo'H935to the kingמֶ֣לֶךְMe.lekhH4428of the northהַצָּפ֔וֹןha.tza.FonH6828to makeלַעֲשׂ֖וֹתla.'a.SotH6213an agreementמֵישָׁרִ֑יםmei.sha.RimH4339:but she shall not retainתַעְצֹ֞רta'.TzorH6113the powerכּ֣וֹחַKo.achH3581of the armהַזְּר֗וֹעַha.ze.Ro.a'H2220;neither shall he standיַעֲמֹד֙ya.'a.ModH5975,nor his armוּזְרֹע֔וֹu.ze.ro.'OH2220:but she shall be given upוְתִנָּתֵ֨ןve.ti.na.TenH5414,and they that broughtוּמְבִיאֶ֙יהָ֙u.me.vi.'Ei.haH935her, and he that begatוְהַיֹּ֣לְדָ֔הּve.hai.Yo.le.DahH3205her, and he that strengthenedוּמַחֲזִקָ֖הּu.ma.cha.zi.KahH2388her in thesetimesבָּעִתִּֽים׃ba.'i.TimH6256.
7But out of a branchמִנֵּ֥צֶרmi.Ne.tzerH5342of her rootsשָׁרָשֶׁ֖יהָsha.ra.Shei.haH8328shall onestand upוְעָמַ֛דve.'a.MadH5975in his estateכַּנּ֑וֹka.NoH3653,which shall comeוְיָבֹ֣אve.ya.Vo'H935with an armyהַחַ֗יִלha.Cha.yilH2428,and shall enterוְיָבֹא֙ve.ya.Vo'H935into the fortressבְּמָעוֹז֙be.ma.'OzH4581of the kingמֶ֣לֶךְMe.lekhH4428of the northהַצָּפ֔וֹןha.tza.FonH6828,and shall dealוְעָשָׂ֥הve.'a.SahH6213against them, and shall prevailוְהֶחֱזִֽיק׃ve.he.che.ZikH2388:
8And shall also carryיָבִ֣אya.Vi'H935captivesבַּשְּׁבִ֖יba.she.ViH7628into Egyptמִצְרָ֑יִםmitz.Ra.yimH4714their godsאֱֽלֹהֵיהֶ֡ם'elo.hei.HemH430,with their princesנְסִֽכֵיהֶם֩ne.si.khei.HemH5257, andwith their preciousחֶמְדָּתָ֜םchem.da.TamH2532vesselsכְּלֵ֨יke.LeiH3627of silverכֶּ֧סֶףKe.sefH3701and of goldוְזָהָ֛בve.za.HavH2091;and he shall continueיַעֲמֹ֔דya.'a.ModH5975moreyearsשָׁנִ֣יםsha.NimH8141than the kingמִמֶּ֖לֶךְmi.Me.lekhH4428of the northהַצָּפֽוֹן׃ha.tza.FonH6828.
10But his sonsוּבָנָ֣יוuv.novH1121shall be stirred upיִתְגָּר֗וּyit.ga.RuH1624,and shall assembleוְאָסְפוּ֙ve.'a.se.FuH622a multitudeהֲמוֹן֙ha.mOnH1995of greatרַבִּ֔יםra.BimH7227forcesחֲיָלִ֣יםcha.ya.LimH2428: and oneshall certainlyוּבָ֥אu.Va'H935comeב֖וֹאVo'H935,and overflowוְשָׁטַ֣ףve.sha.TafH7857,and pass throughוְעָבָ֑רve.'a.VarH5674:then shall he returnוְיָשֹׁ֥בve.ya.ShoH7725,and be stirred upוְיִתְגָּרֶ֖הve.yit.ga.ruH1624, evento his fortressמָעֻזּֽוֹ׃ma.'u.zoH4581.
11And the kingמֶ֣לֶךְMe.lekhH4428of the southהַנֶּ֔גֶבha.Ne.gevH5045shall be moved with cholerוְיִתְמַרְמַר֙ve.yit.mar.MarH4843,and shall come forthוְיָצָ֕אve.ya.Tza'H3318and fightוְנִלְחַ֥םve.nil.ChamH3898with him, evenwith the kingמֶ֣לֶךְMe.lekhH4428of the northהַצָּפ֑וֹןha.tza.FonH6828:and he shall set forthוְהֶעֱמִיד֙ve.he.'e.MidH5975a greatרָ֔בRavH7227multitudeהָמ֣וֹןha.MonH1995;but the multitudeהֶהָמ֖וֹןhe.ha.MonH1995shall be givenוְנִתַּ֥ןve.ni.TanH5414into his handבְּיָדֽוֹ׃be.ya.DoH3027.
12Andwhen he hath taken awayוְנִשָּׂ֥אve.ni.Sa'H5375the multitudeהֶהָמ֖וֹןhe.ha.MonH1995,his heartלְבָב֑וֹle.va.VoH3824shall be lifted upוְרָ֣םve.RumH7311;and he shall cast downוְהִפִּ֛ילve.hi.PilH5307manyten thousandsרִבֹּא֖וֹתri.bo.'otH7239:but he shall not be strengthenedיָעֽוֹז׃ya.'ozH5810by it.
13For the kingמֶ֣לֶךְMe.lekhH4428of the northהַצָּפ֔וֹןha.tza.FonH6828shall returnוְשָׁב֙ve.ShavH7725,and shall set forthוְהֶעֱמִ֣ידve.he.'e.MidH5975a multitudeהָמ֔וֹןha.MonH1995greaterרַ֖בravH7227than the formerהָרִאשׁ֑וֹןha.ri.ShonH7223,and shall certainlyיָ֣בוֹאYa.Vo'H935comeב֔וֹאVo'H935afterוּלְקֵ֨ץu.le.KetzH7093certainהָֽעִתִּ֤יםha.'i.TimH6256yearsשָׁנִים֙sha.NimH8141with a greatגָּד֖וֹלga.DolH1419armyבְּחַ֥יִלbe.Cha.yilH2428and with muchרָֽב׃RavH7227richesוּבִרְכ֥וּשׁu.vir.KhushH7399.
14And in those timesוּבָעִתִּ֣יםu.va.'i.TimH6256there shall manyרַבִּ֥יםra.BimH7227stand upיַֽעַמְד֖וּya.'am.DuH5975against the kingמֶ֣לֶךְMe.lekhH4428of the southהַנֶּ֑גֶבha.Ne.gevH5045:also the robbersוּבְנֵ֣י׀ פָּרִיצֵ֣יu.ve.Nei pa.ri.TzeiH6530H1121of thy peopleעַמְּךָ֗'a.me.KhaH5971shall exaltיִֽנַּשְּׂא֛וּyi.na.se.'UH5375themselves to establishלְהַעֲמִ֥ידle.ha.'a.MidH5975the visionחָז֖וֹןcha.ZonH2377;but they shall fallוְנִכְשָֽׁלוּ׃ve.nikh.Sha.luH3782.
15So the kingמֶ֣לֶךְMe.lekhH4428of the northהַצָּפ֔וֹןha.tza.FonH6828shall comeוְיָבֹא֙ve.ya.Vo'H935,and cast upוְיִשְׁפֹּךְ֙ve.yish.poKhH8210a mountסֽוֹלֲלָ֔הso.la.LahH5550,and takeוְלָכַ֖דve.la.KhadH3920the most fencedמִבְצָר֑וֹתmiv.tza.RotH4013citiesעִ֣יר'irH5892:and the armsוּזְרֹע֤וֹתu.ze.ro.'otH2220of the southהַנֶּ֙גֶב֙ha.Ne.gevH5045shall not withstandיַעֲמֹ֔דוּya.'a.Mo.duH5975,neither his chosenמִבְחָרָ֔יוmiv.cha.RavH4005peopleוְעַם֙ve.'AmH5971, neither shall there be anystrengthכֹּ֖חַKo.achH3581to withstandלַעֲמֹֽד׃la.'a.ModH5975.
