1And Elishaוֶאֱלִישָׁע֙ve.'e.li.Sha'H477the prophetהַנָּבִ֔יאha.na.Vi'H5030calledקָרָ֕אka.Ra'H7121oneלְאַחַ֖דle.'a.ChadH259of the childrenמִבְּנֵ֣יmi.be.NeiH1121of the prophetsהַנְּבִיאִ֑יםha.ne.vi.'ImH5030,and saidוַיֹּ֨אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559unto him, Gird upחֲגֹ֣רcha.GorH2296thy loinsמָתְנֶ֗יךָma.te.Nei.khaH4975,and takeוְ֠קַחVe.kachH3947this boxפַּ֣ךְpakhH6378of oilהַשֶּׁ֤מֶןha.She.menH8081in thine handבְּיָדֶ֔ךָbe.ya.De.khaH3027,and goH3212to Ramoth–gileadגִּלְעָֽד׃gil.'AdH1568H7433:
2And when thou comestוּבָ֖אתָu.Va.taH935thither, look outוּרְאֵֽה־u.re.'e.ho.Sha-H7200there Jehuיֵה֨וּאye.Hu'H3058the sonבֶן־ven-H1121of Jehoshaphatיְהוֹשָׁפָ֜טye.ho.sha.FatH3092the sonבֶּן־ben-H1121of Nimshiנִמְשִׁ֗יnim.ShiH5250,and go inוּבָ֙אתָ֙u.Va.taH935,and make him arise upוַהֲקֵֽמֹתוֹ֙va.ha.ke.mo.ToH6965from amongמִתּ֣וֹךmi.TokhH8432his brethrenאֶחָ֔יו'e.ChavH251,and carryוְהֵבֵיאתָ֥ve.he.vei.TaH935him to an innerחֶ֥דֶרChe.derH2315chamberבְּחָֽדֶר׃be.Cha.derH2315;
3Then takeוְלָקַחְתָּ֤ve.la.kach.TaH3947the boxפַךְ־fakh-H6378of oilהַשֶּׁ֙מֶן֙ha.She.menH8081,and pourוְיָצַקְתָּ֣ve.ya.tzak.TaH3332iton his headרֹאשׁ֔וֹro.ShoH7218,and sayוְאָֽמַרְתָּ֙ve.'a.mar.TaH559,Thus saithאָמַ֣ר'a.MarH559the Lordיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068,I have anointedמְשַׁחְתִּ֥יךָֽme.shach.Ti.khaH4886thee kingלְמֶ֖לֶךְle.Me.lekhH4428over Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֑לYis.ra.'ElH3478.Then openוּפָתַחְתָּ֥u.fa.tach.TaH6605the doorהַדֶּ֛לֶתha.De.letH1817,and fleeוְנַ֖סְתָּהve.Nas.tahH5127,and tarryתְחַכֶּֽה׃te.cha.KehH2442not.
5And when he cameוַיָּבֹ֗אvai.ya.Vo'H935,behold, the captainsשָׂרֵ֤יsa.ReiH8269of the hostהַחַ֙יִל֙ha.Cha.yilH2428weresittingיֹֽשְׁבִ֔יםyo.she.VimH3427;and he saidוַיֹּ֕אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559,I have an errandדָּבָ֥רda.VarH1697to thee, O captainהַשָּׂ֑רha.SarH8269.And Jehuיֵהוּא֙ye.Hu'H3058saidוַיֹּ֤אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559,Unto which of all us? And he saidוַיֹּ֖אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559,To thee, O captainהַשָּֽׂר׃ha.SarH8269.
6And he aroseוַיָּ֙קָם֙vai.Ya.komH6965,and wentוַיָּבֹ֣אvai.ya.Vo'H935into the houseהַבַּ֔יְתָהha.Bay.tahH1004;and he pouredוַיִּצֹ֥קvai.yi.TzokH3332the oilהַשֶּׁ֖מֶןha.She.menH8081on his headרֹאשׁ֑וֹro.ShoH7218,and saidוַיֹּ֣אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559unto him, Thus saithאָמַ֤ר'a.MarH559the Lordיְהוָה֙Yah.wehH3068Godאֱלֹהֵ֣י'e.lo.HeiH430of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֔לYis.ra.'ElH3478,I have anointedמְשַׁחְתִּ֧יךָֽme.shach.Ti.khaH4886thee kingלְמֶ֛לֶךְle.Me.lekhH4428over the peopleעַ֥ם'amH5971of the Lordיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068, evenover Israelיִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃Yis.ra.'ElH3478.
7And thou shalt smiteוְהִ֨כִּיתָ֔הve.Hi.ki.TahH5221the houseבֵּ֥יתbeitH1004of Ahabאַחְאָ֖ב'ach.'AvH256thy masterאֲדֹנֶ֑יךָ'a.do.Nei.khaH113,that I may avengeוְנִקַּמְתִּ֞יve.ni.kam.TiH5358the bloodדְּמֵ֣י׀de.MeiH1818of my servantsעֲבָדַ֣י'a.va.DaiH5650the prophetsהַנְּבִיאִ֗יםha.ne.vi.'ImH5030,and the bloodוּדְמֵ֛יu.de.MeiH1818of all the servantsעַבְדֵ֥י'av.DeiH5650of the Lordיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068,at the handמִיַּ֥דmi.YadH3027of Jezebelאִיזָֽבֶל׃'i.Za.velH348.
8For the whole houseבֵּ֣יתbeitH1004of Ahabאַחְאָ֑ב'ach.'AvH256shall perishוְאָבַ֖דve.'a.VadH6:and I will cut offוְהִכְרַתִּ֤יve.hikh.ra.TiH3772from Ahabלְאַחְאָב֙le.'ach.'AvH256him that pissethמַשְׁתִּ֣יןmash.TinH8366against the wallבְּקִ֔ירbe.KirH7023,and him that is shut upוְעָצ֥וּרve.'a.TzurH6113and leftוְעָז֖וּבve.'a.ZuvH5800in Israelבְּיִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃be.Yis.ra.'ElH3478:
9And I will makeוְנָֽתַתִּי֙ve.na.ta.TiH5414the houseבֵּ֣יתbeitH1004of Ahabאַחְאָ֔ב'ach.'AvH256like the houseכְּבֵ֖יתke.VeitH1004of Jeroboamיָרָבְעָ֣םya.ra.ve.'AmH3379the sonבֶּן־ben-H1121of Nebatנְבָ֑טne.VatH5028,and like the houseוּכְבֵ֖יתu.khe.VeitH1004of Baashaבַּעְשָׁ֥אba'.Sha'H1201the sonבֶן־ven-H1121of Ahijahאֲחִיָּֽה׃'a.chi.YahH281:
10And the dogsהַכְּלָבִ֛יםha.ke.la.VimH3611shall eatיֹאכְל֧וּyo.khe.LuH398Jezebelאִיזֶ֜בֶל'i.Ze.velH348in the portionבְּחֵ֥לֶקbe.Che.lekH2506of Jezreelיִזְרְעֶ֖אלyiz.re.'ElH3157, and there shall benone to buryקֹבֵ֑רko.VerH6912her.And he openedוַיִּפְתַּ֥חvai.yif.TachH6605the doorהַדֶּ֖לֶתha.De.letH1817,and fledוַיָּנֹֽס׃vai.ya.NosH5127.
