29In his daysבְּיָמָ֡יוbe.ya.MavH3117Pharaoh–nechohH6549kingמֶֽלֶךְ־Me.lekh-H4428of Egyptמִצְרַ֛יִםmitz.Ra.yimH4714went upעָלָה֩'a.LahH5927against the kingמֶ֥לֶךְMe.lekhH4428of Assyriaאַשּׁ֖וּר'a.ShurH804to the riverנְהַר־ne.har-H5104Euphratesפְּרָ֑תpe.RatH6578:and kingהַמֶּ֤לֶךְha.Me.lekhH4428Josiahיֹאשִׁיָּ֙הוּ֙yo.shi.Ya.huH2977wentH3212againstH7125him; and he slewוַיְמִיתֵ֙הוּ֙vay.mi.Te.huH4191him at Megiddoבִּמְגִדּ֔וֹbim.gi.DoH4023,when he had seenכִּרְאֹת֖וֹkir.'o.ToH7200him.

33And Pharaoh–nechohH6549put him in bandsוַיַּאַסְרֵהוּ֩vai.ya.'as.re.HuH631at Riblahבְרִבְלָה֙ve.riv.LahH7247in the landבְּאֶ֣רֶץbe.'E.retzH776of Hamathחֲמָ֔תcha.MatH2574,that he might not reignמִמְּלֹ֖ךְmim.lokhH4427in Jerusalemבִּירוּשָׁלִָ֑םbi.ru.sha.LimH3389;and putוַיִּתֶּן־vai.yi.ten-H5414the landהָאָ֔רֶץha.'A.retzH776to a tributeעֹ֙נֶשׁ֙'o.neshH6066of an hundredמֵאָ֥הme.'AhH3967talentsכִכַּר־khi.kar-H3603of silverכֶּ֖סֶףKe.sefH3701,and a talentוְכִכַּ֥רve.khi.KarH3603of goldזָהָֽב׃za.HavH2091.
34And Pharaoh–nechohH6549made Eliakimאֶלְיָקִ֣ים'el.ya.KimH471the sonבֶּן־ben-H1121of Josiahיֹאשִׁיָּ֗הוּyo.shi.Ya.huH2977kingוַיַּמְלֵךְ֩vai.yam.leKhH4427in the room of Josiahיֹאשִׁיָּ֣הוּyo.shi.Ya.huH2977his fatherאָבִ֔יו'a.VivH1,and turnedוַיַּסֵּ֥בvai.ya.SevH5437his nameשְׁמ֖וֹshe.MoH8034to Jehoiakimיְהוֹיָקִ֑יםye.ho.ya.KimH3079,and tookH3947Jehoahazיְהוֹאָחָ֣זye.ho.'a.ChazH3059awayH3947:and he cameוַיָּבֹ֥אvai.ya.Vo'H935to Egyptמִצְרַ֖יִםmitz.Ra.yimH4714,and diedוַיָּ֥מָתvai.Ya.motH4191there.
