24And he didוַיַּ֥עַשׂvai.Ya.'asH6213that which wasevilהָרַ֖עha.Ra'H7451in the sightבְּעֵינֵ֣יbe.'ei.NeiH5869of the Lordיְהוָ֑הYah.wehH3068:he departedסָ֗רSarH5493not from the sinsמֵֽחַטֹּאות֙me.cha.tOtH2403of Jeroboamיָרָבְעָ֣םya.ra.ve.'AmH3379the sonבֶּן־ben-H1121of Nebatנְבָ֔טne.VatH5028,who made Israelיִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃Yis.ra.'ElH3478to sinהֶחֱטִ֖יאhe.che.Ti'H2398.
25But Pekahפֶּ֨קַחPe.kachH6492the sonבֶּן־ben-H1121of Remaliahרְמַלְיָ֜הוּre.mal.Ya.huH7425,a captainשָׁלִישׁ֗וֹsha.li.ShoH7991of his, conspiredוַיִּקְשֹׁ֣רvai.yik.ShorH7194against him, and smoteוַיַּכֵּ֨הוּvai.ya.Ke.huH5221him in Samariaבְשֹׁמְר֜וֹןve.sho.me.RonH8111,in the palaceבְּאַרְמ֤וֹןbe.'ar.MonH759of the king’sהַמֶּ֙לֶךְ֙ha.Me.lekhH4428houseבֵּית־beit-H1004,with Argobאַרְגֹּ֣ב'ar.GoH709and Ariehהָאַרְיֵ֔הha.'ar.YehH745,and with him fiftyחֲמִשִּׁ֥יםcha.mi.ShimH2572menאִ֖ישׁ'ishH376of the Gileaditesמִבְּנֵ֣י גִלְעָדִ֑יםmi.be.Nei gil.'a.DimH1569H1121:and he killedוַיְמִיתֵ֖הוּvay.mi.Te.huH4191him, and reignedוַיִּמְלֹ֥ךְvai.yim.LokhH4427in his room.
