41And Elijahאֵלִיָּ֙הוּ֙'e.li.Ya.huH452saidוַיֹּ֤אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559unto Ahabלְאַחְאָ֔בle.'ach.'AvH256,Get thee upעֲלֵ֖ה'a.LehH5927,eatאֱכֹ֣ל'e.KholH398and drinkוּשְׁתֵ֑הu.she.TehH8354; for there isa soundק֖וֹלKolH6963of abundanceהֲמ֥וֹןha.MonH1995of rainהַגָּֽשֶׁם׃ha.Ga.shemH1653.

42So Ahabאַחְאָ֖ב'ach.'AvH256went upוַיַּעֲלֶ֥הvai.ya.'a.LehH5927to eatלֶאֱכֹ֣לle.'e.KholH398and to drinkוְלִשְׁתּ֑וֹתve.lish.TotH8354.And Elijahוְאֵ֨לִיָּ֜הוּve.'E.li.Ya.huH452went upעָלָ֨ה'a.LahH5927to the topרֹ֤אשׁroshH7218of Carmelהַכַּרְמֶל֙ha.kar.MelH3760;and he cast himself downוַיִּגְהַ֣רvai.yig.HarH1457upon the earthאַ֔רְצָה'Ar.tzahH776,and putוַיָּ֥שֶׂםvai.Ya.semH7760his faceפָּנָ֖יוpa.NavH6440between his kneesבִּרְכָּֽיו׃be.ra.khovH1290,

43And saidוַיֹּ֣אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559to his servantנַעֲר֗וֹna.'a.RoH5288,Go upעֲלֵֽה־'a.leh-H5927now, lookהַבֵּ֣טha.BetH5027towardדֶּֽרֶךְ־de.rekh-H1870the seaיָ֔םYamH3220.And he went upוַיַּ֙עַל֙vai.Ya.'alH5927,and lookedוַיַּבֵּ֔טvai.ya.BetH5027,and saidוַיֹּ֖אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559, There isnothingמְא֑וּמָהme.'U.mahH3972.And he saidוַיֹּ֕אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559,Go againשֻׁ֖בshuvH7725sevenשֶׁ֥בַעShe.va'H7651timesפְּעָמִֽים׃pe.'a.MimH6471.

44And it came to pass at the seventh timeבַּשְּׁבִעִ֔יתba.she.vi.'ItH7637,that he saidוַיֹּ֗אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559,Behold, there arisethעֹלָ֣ה'o.LahH5927a littleקְטַנָּ֥הke.ta.NahH6996cloudעָ֛ב'avH5645out of the seaמִיָּ֑םmi.YamH3220,like a man’sאִ֖ישׁ'ishH376handכְּכַף־ke.khaf-H3709.And he saidוַיֹּ֗אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559,Go upעֲלֵ֨ה'a.LehH5927,sayאֱמֹ֤ר'e.MorH559unto Ahabאַחְאָב֙'ach.'AvH256,Prepareאֱסֹ֣ר'e.SorH631thy chariot,and get thee downוָרֵ֔דva.RedH3381,that the rainהַגָּֽשֶׁם׃ha.Ga.shemH1653stopיַעַצָרְכָ֖הya.'a.tza.re.KhahH6113thee not.
