- Adam Clarke Bible Commentary · v. 7Er - était méchant aux yeux de l'Éternel - Nous ne savons pas en quoi consistait cette méchanceté, mais l'expression "aux yeux de l'Éternel", ajoutée, prouve qu'il s'agissait d'un très grand mal. Il est intéressant de noter que le mot hébreu utilisé pour exprimer la méchanceté d'Er est son propre nom, les lettres étant inversées. Er ער méchant, רע ra.
