Context of Luke 8:43
41And here came a man named Jairus, a leader in the synagogue. Falling at Yeshua’s feet, he begged Him to come to his house, 42because his only daughter, about twelve years old, was dying. But as He made His way, the masses were crushing in upon Him. And there was a woman with a blood flow for twelve years, who could not be healed by anyone. 44She came up from behind and touched the tzitzit of Yeshua’s garment. Immediately, her blood flow stopped. 45Yeshua said, “Who touched Me?” When everyone denied it, Peter said, “Master, the crowds are surrounding You and pressing in!”

And many a poor soul is healed, and helped, and saved by Christ, that is hidden in a crowd, and nobody notices it. This woman came trembling, yet her faith saved her. According to the law of Moses, such bleeding made the woman ceremonially unclean. This would prevent her from participating in community worship (Leviticus 15:25–30).Read the comment
