Context of Luke 8:44
42because his only daughter, about twelve years old, was dying. But as He made His way, the masses were crushing in upon Him. 43And there was a woman with a blood flow for twelve years, who could not be healed by anyone. She came up from behind and touched the tzitzit of Yeshua’s garment. Immediately, her blood flow stopped. 45Yeshua said, “Who touched Me?” When everyone denied it, Peter said, “Master, the crowds are surrounding You and pressing in!” 46But Yeshua said, “Someone touched Me, for I recognized power going out from Me.”

- Matthew Henry Concise Commentary · v. 41-56Verses 41-56 Let us not complain of a crowd, and a throng, and a hurry, as long as we are in the way of our duty, and doing good; but otherwise every wise man will keep himself out of it as much as he can. And many a poor soul is healed, and helped, and saved by Christ, that is hidden in a crowd, and nobody notices it. This woman came trembling, yet her faith saved her. There may be trembling, where yet there is saving faith. Observe Christ's comfortable…Read the comment
