Context of Acts 10:22
20But get up, go downstairs, and go with them without hesitating, because I Myself have sent them.” 21Going down to the men, Peter said, “Here, I’m the one you’re looking for. What is the reason for your coming?” And they said, “Cornelius, a centurion, a righteous and God-fearing man well-spoken of by all the Jewish people, was directed by a holy angel to summon you to his house and to hear a message from you.” 23So Peter invited them in to be his guests. The next day he got up and went with them, and some of the brothers from Joppa accompanied him. 24The following day he entered Caesarea. Cornelius was waiting for them and had called together his relatives and close friends.
