Zechariah 8

1And the wordH1697 of the LORDH3068 of hostsH6635 cameH1961 to meH1961, sayingH559, 2ThusH3541 saith the LORDH3068 of hostsH6635: I am jealousH7065 for ZionH6726 with greatH1419 jealousyH7068, and I am jealousH7065 for herH559 with greatH1419 furyH2534. 3ThusH3541 saith the LORDH3068: I am returnedH7725 unto ZionH6726, and will dwellH7931 in the midstH8432 of JerusalemH3389: and JerusalemH3389 shall be calledH7121 The cityH5892 of truthH571; and the mountainH2022 of the LORDH3068 of hostsH6635 The holyH6944 mountainH2022. 4ThusH3541 saith the LORDH3068 of hostsH6635: There shall yet oldH2205 menH376 and oldH2205 womenH2205 dwellH3427 in the streetsH7339 of JerusalemH3389, everyH376 manH376 with his staffH4938 in his handH3027 for very ageH3117. 5And the streetsH7339 of the cityH5892 shall be fullH4390 of boysH3206 and girlsH3207 playingH7832 in the streetsH7339 thereof. 6ThusH3541 saith the LORDH3068 of hostsH6635: IfH3588 it be marvelousH6381 in the eyesH5869 of the remnantH7611 of this peopleH5971 in thoseH1992 daysH3117, should it also be marvelousH6381 in mine eyesH5869? saith the LORDH3068 of hostsH6635. 7ThusH3541 saith the LORDH3068 of hostsH6635: BeholdH2005, I will saveH3467 my peopleH5971 from the eastH4217 countryH776, and from the westH3996 countryH776: 8and I will bringH935 them, and they shall dwellH7931 in the midstH8432 of JerusalemH3389; and they shall be my peopleH5971, and I will be their GodH430, in truthH571 and in righteousnessH6666. 9ThusH3541 saith the LORDH3068 of hostsH6635, Let your handsH3027 be strongH2388, ye that hearH8085 in theseH428 daysH3117 theseH428 wordsH1697 from the mouthH6310 of the prophetsH5030, whichH834 were in the dayH3117 that the foundationH3245 of the houseH1004 of the LORDH3068 of hostsH6635 was laidH3245, evenH853 the templeH1004, that it might be builtH1129. 10For beforeH6440 thoseH3605 daysH3117 there was noH3808 hireH7939 for manH376, norH3808 anyH3605 hireH7939 for beastH929; neitherH3808 was there anyH3605 peaceH7965 to him that wentH3318 outH3318 or cameH935 in becauseH3588 of the adversary: for I setH7971 allH3605 menH376 everyH3605 one againstH4480 his neighbour. 11But nowH6258 I will notH3808 be unto the remnantH7611 of this peopleH5971 as in the formerH7223 daysH3117, saith the LORDH3068 of hostsH6635. 12For there shall be the seedH2233 of peaceH7965; the vineH1612 shall giveH5414 herH3605 fruitH6529, and the groundH776 shall giveH5414 herH3605 increaseH2981, and the heavensH8064 shall giveH5414 their dewH2919; and I will causeH5414 the remnantH7611 of this peopleH5971 to inheritH5157 allH3605 theseH428 things. 13And it shall comeH1961 to passH1961 that, as ye were a curseH7045 among the nationsH1471, O houseH1004 of JudahH3063 and houseH1004 of IsraelH3478, soH3651 will I saveH3467 youH834, and ye shall be a blessingH1293: fearH3372 notH408, but letH408 your handsH3027 be strongH2388. 14For thusH3541 saith the LORDH3068 of hostsH6635: As I thoughtH559 to do evilH7489 unto youH834, when your fathersH1 provokedH7107 meH3808 to wrathH7107, saith the LORDH3068 of hostsH6635, and I repentedH5162 notH3808; 15soH3651 againH7725 have I thought in theseH428 daysH3117 to doH3190 goodH3190 unto JerusalemH3389 and to the houseH1004 of JudahH3063: fearH3372 ye notH408. 16TheseH428 are the things that ye shall doH6213; SpeakH1696 ye everyH376 manH376 the truthH571 with his neighbour; executeH8199 the judgmentH4941 of truthH571 and peaceH7965 in your gatesH8179: 17and letH408 noneH3605 of youH834 imagine evilH7451 in your heartsH3824 againstH8130 his neighbour; and loveH157 noH408 falseH8267 oathH7621: for allH3605 theseH428 are things that I hateH8130, saith the LORDH3068. 18And the wordH1697 of the LORDH3068 of hostsH6635 cameH1961 unto meH413, sayingH559, 19ThusH3541 saith the LORDH3068 of hostsH6635: The fastH6685 of the fourthH7243 month, and the fastH6685 of the fifthH2549, and the fastH6685 of the seventhH7637, and the fastH6685 of the tenthH6224, shall be to the houseH1004 of JudahH3063 joyH8057 and gladnessH8057, and cheerful feastsH4150; therefore loveH157 truthH571 and peaceH7965. 20ThusH3541 saith the LORDH3068 of hostsH6635: It shall yet comeH935 to passH935, that there shall comeH935 peoplesH5971, and the inhabitantsH3427 of manyH7227 citiesH5892: 21and the inhabitantsH3427 of one city shall goH1980 to anotherH259, sayingH559, LetH1980 usH413 goH1980 speedily to entreatH2470 the favour of the LORDH3068, and to seekH1245 the LORDH3068 of hostsH6635: I will goH1980 also. 22Yea, manyH7227 peoplesH5971 and strongH6099 nationsH1471 shall comeH935 to seekH1245 the LORDH3068 of hostsH6635 in JerusalemH3389, and to entreatH2470 the favour of the LORDH3068. 23ThusH3541 saith the LORDH3068 of hostsH6635: In thoseH3605 daysH3117 it shall comeH6635 to pass, that tenH6235 menH376 shall takeH2388 holdH2388, outH2388 of allH3605 the languagesH3956 of the nationsH1471, shall evenH3588 takeH2388 holdH2388 of the skirtH3671 of him that is a JewH3064, sayingH559, WeH3588 will go with youH834, for weH3588 have heardH8085 that GodH430 is with youH834.
