Revised Version 1895
Joshua 14:1-5
1And theseH428 are the inheritances whichH834 the childrenH1121 of IsraelH3478 tookH853 in the landH776 of CanaanH3667, whichH834 EleazarH499 the priestH3548, and JoshuaH3091 the sonH1121 of NunH5126, and the headsH7218 of the fathers’H1 houses of the tribesH4294 of the childrenH1121 of IsraelH3478, distributedH5157 unto them,
2by the lotH1486 of their inheritanceH5159, as the LORDH3068 commandedH6680 by the handH3027 of MosesH4872, for the nineH8672 tribesH4294, and for the halfH2677 tribeH4294.
3For MosesH4872 had givenH5414 the inheritanceH5159 of the twoH8147 tribesH4294 and the halfH2677 tribeH4294 beyondH5676 JordanH3383: but unto the LevitesH3881 he gaveH5414 noneH3808 inheritanceH5159 among them.
4For the childrenH1121 of JosephH3130 were twoH8147 tribesH4294, ManassehH4519 and EphraimH669: and they gaveH5414 noH3808 portionH2506 unto the LevitesH3881 in the landH776, save citiesH5892 to dwellH3427 in, with the suburbs thereof for their cattleH4735 and for their substance.
5As the LORDH3068 commandedH6680 MosesH4872, soH3651 the childrenH1121 of IsraelH3478 didH6213, and they dividedH2505 the landH776.
