Revised Literal Translation
Joshua 14:1-5
1And these are the countries which the childrenH1121 of IsraelH3478 inheritedH5157 in the landH776 of CanaanH3667, which EleazarH499 the priestH3548, and JoshuaH3091 the sonH1121 of NunH5126, and the headsH7218 of the fathersH1 of the tribesH4294 of the childrenH1121 of IsraelH3478, distributed for inheritanceH5157 to them.
2By lotH1486 was their inheritanceH5159, as YhwhH3068 commandedH6680 by the handH3027 of MosesH4872, for the nineH8672 tribesH4294, and for the halfH2677 tribeH4294.
3For MosesH4872 had givenH5414 the inheritanceH5159 of twoH8147 tribesH4294 and an halfH2677 tribeH4294 on the other sideH5676 JordanH3383: but unto the LevitesH3881 he gaveH5414 none inheritanceH5159 amongH8432 them.
4For the childrenH1121 of JosephH3130 were twoH8147 tribesH4294, ManassehH4519 and EphraimH669: therefore they gaveH5414 no partH2506 unto the LevitesH3881 in the landH776, save citiesH5892 to dwellH3427 in, with their suburbsH4054 for their cattleH4735 and for their substanceH7075.
5As YhwhH3068 commandedH6680 MosesH4872, so the childrenH1121 of IsraelH3478 didH6213, and they dividedH2505 the landH776.
