1 Chronicles 6:39-66

39And his brother Asaph, who stood on his rightH175 hand, evenH3588 Asaph the sonH1121 of Berechiah, the sonH1121 of Shimea;

40the son of Michael, the son of Baaseiah, the son of Malchijah;

41the sonH1121 of Ethni, the sonH1121 of Zerah, the sonH1121 of Adaiah;

42the sonH1121 of Ethan, the sonH1121 of Zimmah, the sonH1121 of Shimei;

43the son of Jahath, the son of Gershom, the son of Levi.

44And on the left hand their brethren the sons of Merari: Ethan the son of Kishi, the son of Abdi, the son of Malluch;

45the son of Hashabiah, the son of Amaziah, the son of Hilkiah;

46the sonH1121 of Amzi, the sonH1121 of Bani, the sonH1121 of Shemer;

47the sonH1121 of Mahli, the sonH1121 of Mushi, the sonH1121 of Merari, the sonH1121 of Levi.

48And their brethren the Levites were appointed for all the service of the tabernacle of the house of God.

49But Aaron and his sonsH1121 offeredH5414 upon the altar of burnt offering, and upon the altar of incense, for all the workH5414 of the most holy placeH5414, and to makeH5414 atonement for IsraelH3478, according to all that MosesH5414 the servant of GodH5414 had commanded.

50And theseH428 are the sonsH1121 of Aaron; Eleazar his sonH1121, Phinehas his sonH1121, Abishua his sonH1121;

51Bukki his sonH1121, Uzzi his sonH1121, Zerahiah his sonH1121;

52Meraioth his son, Amariah his son, Ahitub his son;

53Zadok his son, Ahimaaz his son.

54Now these are their dwelling places according to their encampments in their borders: to the sons of Aaron, of the families of the Kohathites, for theirs was the first lot,

55to them they gave Hebron in the landH4940 of Judah, and the suburbs thereof round about it;

56but the fields of the city, and the villages thereof, they gave to Caleb the sonH1121 of Jephunneh.

57And to the sons of Aaron they gave the cities of refuge, Hebron; Libnah also with her suburbs, and Jattir, and Eshtemoa with her suburbs;

58and Hilen with her suburbs, Debir with her suburbs;

59and Ashan with her suburbs, and Beth-shemesh with her suburbs:

60and outH853 of the tribe of Benjamin; Geba with her suburbs, and Allemeth with her suburbs, and Anathoth with her suburbs. All their cities throughout their families were thirteen cities.

61And unto the rest of the sons of Kohath were given by lot, outH853 of the family of the tribeH4294, outH853 of the half tribeH4294, the half of Manasseh, ten cities.

62And to the sonsH1121 of Gershom, according to their familiesH1121, outH853 of the tribeH4294 of Issachar, and outH853 of the tribeH4294 of Asher, and outH853 of the tribeH4294 of Naphtali, and outH853 of the tribeH4294 of Manasseh in Bashan, thirteen cities.

63Unto the sons of Merari were given by lot, according to their families, outH853 of the tribeH4294 of ReubenH7205, and outH853 of the tribeH4294 of Gad, and outH853 of the tribeH4294 of Zebulun, twelve cities.

64And the children of Israel gave to the Levites the cities with their suburbs.

65And they gave by lot outH853 of the tribeH4294 of the children of Judah, and outH853 of the tribeH4294 of the children of Simeon, and outH853 of the tribeH4294 of the children of Benjamin, these cities which are mentioned by name.

66And some of the families of the sons of Kohath had cities of their borders outH853 of the tribe of Ephraim.
