7And DavidH1732 saidH559 to SolomonH8010 his sonH1121, As for meH589, it was in my heartH3824 to buildH1129 an houseH1004 unto the nameH8034 of the LORDH3068 my GodH430.

8But the wordH1697 of the LORDH3068 cameH1961 to meH6440, sayingH559, Thou hast shedH8210 bloodH1818 abundantlyH7230, and hast madeH6213 greatH1419 warsH4421: thou shalt notH3808 buildH1129 an houseH1004 unto my nameH8034, becauseH3588 thou hast shedH8210 muchH7230 bloodH1818 uponH5921 the earthH776 in my sightH6440:

9BeholdH2009, a sonH1121 shall be bornH3205 to thee, who shall be a manH376 of restH5117; and I will giveH5414 him restH5117 from allH3605 his enemiesH341 roundH5439 aboutH1961: for his nameH8034 shall be SolomonH8010, and I will giveH5414 peaceH7965 and quietness unto IsraelH3478 in his daysH3117:

10he shall buildH1129 an houseH1004 for my nameH8034; and he shall be my sonH1121, and I will be his fatherH1; and I will establishH3559 the throneH3678 of his kingdomH4438 over IsraelH3478 for everH5769.

11NowH6258, my sonH1121, the LORDH3068 be with thee; and prosperH6743 thou, and buildH1129 the houseH1004 of the LORDH3068 thy GodH430, as he hath spokenH1696 concerning thee.

12OnlyH389 the LORDH3068 giveH5414 thee discretionH7922 and understandingH998, and giveH5414 thee chargeH5921 concerning IsraelH3478; that soH5414 thou mayest keepH8104 the lawH8451 of the LORDH3068 thy GodH430.

13Then shalt thou prosperH6743, ifH518 thou observeH8104 to doH6213 the statutesH2706 and the judgmentsH4941 whichH834 the LORDH3068 chargedH6680 MosesH4872 with concerning IsraelH3478: be strongH2388, and of good courageH2388; fearH3372 notH408, neitherH408 be dismayedH2865.

14NowH1961, beholdH2009, in my affliction I have preparedH3559 for the houseH1004 of the LORDH3068 an hundredH3967 thousandH505 talentsH3603 of goldH2091, and a thousandH505 thousandH505 talentsH3603 of silverH3701; and of brassH5178 and ironH1270 withoutH369 weightH4948; for it is in abundanceH7230: timberH6086 also and stoneH68 have I preparedH3559; and thou mayest addH3254 thereto.

15Moreover there are workmenH4399 with thee in abundanceH7230, hewersH2672 and workersH4399 of stoneH68 and timberH6086, and allH3605 menH2450 that are cunning in anyH3605 manner of workH4399;

16of the goldH2091, the silverH3701, and the brassH5178, and the ironH1270, there is noH369 numberH4557; ariseH6965 and be doingH6213, and the LORDH3068 be with thee.
