Revised Literal Translation
Psalms 123
A Song of degrees.
1Unto thee lift I upH5375 mine eyesH5869, O thou that dwellestH3427 in the heavensH8064.
2Behold, as the eyesH5869 of servantsH5650 look unto the handH3027 of their mastersH113, and as the eyesH5869 of a maidenH8198 unto the handH3027 of her mistressH1404; so our eyesH5869 wait upon YhwhH3068 our GodH430, until that he have mercyH2603 upon us.
3Have mercyH2603 upon us, O YhwhH3068, have mercyH2603 upon us: for we are exceedinglyH7227 filledH7646 with contemptH937.
4Our soulH5315 is exceedinglyH7227 filledH7646 with the scorningH3933 of those that are at easeH7600, and with the contemptH937 of the proudH1349H1343H3238.
