9What do ye imagineתְּחַשְּׁבוּן֙te.cha.she.VunH2803against the Lordיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068?he will makeעֹשֶׂ֑ה'o.SehH6213an utter endכָּלָ֖הka.LahH3617:afflictionצָרָֽה׃tza.RahH6869shall not rise upתָק֥וּםta.KumH6965the second timeפַּעֲמַ֖יִםpa.'a.Ma.yimH6471.

10For while they befolden togetherסְבֻכִ֔יםse.vu.KhimH5440asthornsסִירִ֣יםsi.RimH5518,and while they are drunkenסְבוּאִ֑יםse.vu.'ImH5433asdrunkardsוּכְסָבְאָ֖םu.khe.sa.ve.'AmH5435,they shall be devouredאֻ֨כְּל֔וּ'u.ke.LuH398as stubbleכְּקַ֥שׁke.KashH7179fullyמָלֵֽא׃ma.Le'H4392dryיָבֵ֖שׁya.VeshH3002.

11There is onecome outיָצָ֔אya.Tza'H3318of thee, that imaginethחֹשֵׁ֥בcho.ShevH2803evilרָעָ֑הra.'AhH7451against the Lordיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068,a wickedבְּלִיָּֽעַל׃ סbe.li.Ya.'alH1100counsellorיֹעֵ֖ץyo.'EtzH3289.

12Thus saithאָמַ֣ר'a.MarH559the Lordיְהוָ֗הYah.wehH3068; Though they bequietשְׁלֵמִים֙she.le.MimH8003,and likewise manyרַבִּ֔יםra.BimH7227,yet thus shall they be cut downנָגֹ֖זּוּna.Go.zuH1494,when he shall pass throughוְעָבָ֑רve.'a.VarH5674.Though I have afflictedוְעִ֨נִּתִ֔ךְve.'I.ni.TikhH6031thee, I will afflictאֲעַנֵּ֖ךְ'a.'a.NekhH6031thee no more.

13For now will I breakאֶשְׁבֹּ֥ר'esh.BorH7665his yokeמֹטֵ֖הוּmo.Te.huH4132from off thee, and will burstH5423thy bondsוּמוֹסְרֹתַ֖יִךְu.mos.ro.Ta.yikhH4147in sunderH5423.

14And the Lordיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068hath given a commandmentוְצִוָּ֤הve.tzi.VahH6680concerning thee, thatno more of thy nameמִשִּׁמְךָ֖mi.shim.KhaH8034be sownיִזָּרַ֥עyi.za.Ra'H2232:out of the houseמִבֵּ֨יתmi.BeitH1004of thy godsאֱלֹהֶ֜יךָ'e.lo.Hei.khaH430will I cut offאַכְרִ֨ית'akh.RitH3772the graven imageפֶּ֧סֶלPe.selH6459and the molten imageוּמַסֵּכָ֛הu.ma.se.KhahH4541:I will makeאָשִׂ֥ים'a.SimH7760thy graveקִבְרֶ֖ךָkiv.Re.chaH6913;for thou art vileקַלּֽוֹתָ׃ פka.Lo.taH7043.
