14And there cameבָּ֥אba'H935a messengerוּמַלְאָ֛ךְu.mal.'AkhH4397unto Jobאִיּ֖וֹב'i.YovH347,and saidוַיֹּאמַ֑רvai.yo.MarH559,The oxenהַבָּקָר֙ha.ba.KarH1241were plowingחֹֽרְשׁ֔וֹתcho.re.ShotH2790,and the assesוְהָאֲתֹנ֖וֹתve.ha.'a.to.NotH860feedingרֹע֥וֹתro.'otH7462besideיְדֵיהֶֽם׃ye.dei.HemH3027them:

15And the Sabeansשְׁבָא֙she.Va'H7614fellוַתִּפֹּ֤לva.ti.PolH5307upon them,and took them awayוַתִּקָּחֵ֔םva.ti.ka.ChemH3947;yea, they have slainהִכּ֣וּhi.KuH5221the servantsהַנְּעָרִ֖יםha.ne.'a.RimH5288with the edgeלְפִי־le.fi-H6310of the swordחָ֑רֶבCha.revH2719;and I only am escapedוָֽאִמָּ֨לְטָ֧הva.'i.Mal.TahH4422alone to tellלְהַגִּ֥ידle.ha.GidH5046thee.

16While he wasyet speakingמְדַבֵּ֗רme.da.BerH1696,there cameבָּ֣אba'H935also another, and saidוַיֹּאמַר֒vai.yo.MarH559,The fireאֵ֣שׁ'eshH784of Godאֱלֹהִ֗ים'E.lo.HimH430is fallenנָֽפְלָה֙na.fe.LahH5307from heavenהַשָּׁמַ֔יִםha.sha.Ma.yimH8064,and hath burned upוַתִּבְעַ֥רva.tiv.'ArH1197the sheepבַּצֹּ֛אןba.TzonH6629,and the servantsוּבַנְּעָרִ֖יםu.va.ne.'a.RimH5288,and consumedוַתֹּאכְלֵ֑םva.tokh.LemH398them; and I only am escapedוָאִמָּ֨לְטָ֧הva.'i.Mal.TahH4422alone to tellלְהַגִּ֥ידle.ha.GidH5046thee.

20Then Jobאִיּוֹב֙'i.yOvH347aroseוַיָּ֤קָםvai.Ya.komH6965,and rentוַיִּקְרַ֣עvai.yik.Ra'H7167his mantleמְעִל֔וֹme.'i.LoH4598,and shavedוַיָּ֖גָזvai.Ya.gozH1494his headרֹאשׁ֑וֹro.ShoH7218,and fell downוַיִּפֹּ֥לvai.yi.PolH5307upon the groundאַ֖רְצָה'Ar.tzahH776,and worshippedוַיִּשְׁתָּֽחוּ׃vai.yish.Ta.chuH7812,

21And saidוַיֹּאמֶר֩vai.yo.MerH559,Nakedעָרֹ֨ם'a.RomH6174came I outיָצָ֜אתִיya.tza.tiH3318of my mother’sאִמִּ֗י'i.MiH517wombמִבֶּ֣טֶןmi.Be.tenH990,and nakedוְעָרֹם֙ve.'a.RomH6174shall I returnאָשׁ֣וּב'a.ShuvH7725thither: the Lordיְהוָ֣הYah.wehH3068gaveנָתַ֔ןna.TanH5414,and the Lordוַיהוָ֖הva.Yah.wehH3068hath taken awayלָקָ֑חla.KachH3947;blessedמְבֹרָֽךְ׃me.vo.RakhH1288be the nameשֵׁ֥םshemH8034of the Lordיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068.
