3Who isleftהַנִּשְׁאָ֔רha.nish.'ArH7604among you that sawרָאָה֙ra.'AhH7200this houseהַבַּ֣יִתha.Ba.yitH1004in her firstהָרִאשׁ֑וֹןha.ri.ShonH7223gloryבִּכְבוֹד֖וֹbikh.vo.DoH3519?and how do ye seeרֹאִ֤יםro.'ImH7200it now? is itnot in your eyesבְּעֵינֵיכֶֽם׃be.'ei.nei.KhemH5869in comparisonכָמֹ֛הוּkha.Mo.huH3644of it as nothing?

4Yet now be strongחֲזַ֣קcha.ZakH2388,O Zerubbabelזְרֻבָּבֶ֣ל׀ze.ru.ba.VelH2216,saithנְאֻם־ne.'um-H5002the Lordיְהוָ֡הYah.wehH3068;and be strongוַחֲזַ֣קva.cha.ZakH2388,O Joshuaיְהוֹשֻׁ֣עַye.ho.Shu.a'H3091,sonבֶּן־ben-H1121of Josedechיְהוֹצָדָק֩ye.ho.tza.DakH3087,the highהַגָּד֜וֹלha.ga.DolH1419priestהַכֹּהֵ֨ןha.ko.HenH3548;and be strongוַחֲזַ֨קva.cha.ZakH2388,all ye peopleעַ֥ם'amH5971of the landהָאָ֛רֶץha.'A.retzH776,saithנְאֻם־ne.'um-H5002the Lordיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068,and workוַֽעֲשׂ֑וּva.'a.SuH6213: for I amwith you, saithנְאֻ֖םne.'UmH5002the Lordיְהוָ֥הYah.wehH3068of hostsצְבָאֽוֹת׃tze.va.'otH6635:

5According tothe wordהַדָּבָ֞רha.da.VarH1697that I covenantedכָּרַ֤תִּיka.Ra.tiH3772with you when ye cameבְּצֵאתְכֶ֣םbe.tze.te.KhemH3318out of Egyptמִמִּצְרַ֔יִםmi.mitz.Ra.yimH4714,so my spiritוְרוּחִ֖יve.ru.ChiH7307remainethעֹמֶ֣דֶת'o.Me.detH5975amongבְּתוֹכְכֶ֑םbe.tokh.KhemH8432you: fearתִּירָֽאוּ׃ סti.Ra.'uH3372ye not.

6For thus saithאָמַר֙'a.MarH559the Lordיְהוָ֣הYah.wehH3068of hostsצְבָא֔וֹתtze.va.'otH6635;Yet onceאַחַ֖ת'a.ChatH259, it isa little whileמְעַ֣טme.'AtH4592,and I will shakeמַרְעִישׁ֙mar.'IshH7493the heavensהַשָּׁמַ֣יִםha.sha.Ma.yimH8064,and the earthהָאָ֔רֶץha.'A.retzH776,and the seaהַיָּ֖םhai.YamH3220,and the dryהֶחָרָבָֽה׃he.cha.ra.VahH2724land;

7And I will shakeוְהִרְעַשְׁתִּי֙ve.hir.'ash.TiH7493all nationsהַגּוֹיִ֔םha.go.YimH1471,and the desireחֶמְדַּ֣תchem.DatH2532of all nationsהַגּוֹיִ֑םha.go.YimH1471shall comeוּבָ֖אוּu.Va.'uH935:and I will fillוּמִלֵּאתִ֞יu.mi.le.TiH4390this houseהַבַּ֤יִתha.Ba.yitH1004with gloryכָּב֔וֹדka.VodH3519,saithאָמַ֖ר'a.MarH559the Lordיְהוָ֥הYah.wehH3068of hostsצְבָאֽוֹת׃tze.va.'otH6635.

8The silverהַכֶּ֖סֶףha.Ke.sefH3701ismine, and the goldהַזָּהָ֑בha.za.HavH2091ismine, saithנְאֻ֖םne.'UmH5002the Lordיְהוָ֥הYah.wehH3068of hostsצְבָאֽוֹת׃tze.va.'otH6635.

9The gloryכְּבוֹד֩ke.VodH3519of this latterהָאַֽחֲרוֹן֙ha.'a.cha.rOnH314houseהַבַּ֨יִתha.Ba.yitH1004shall be greater thanגָּד֣וֹלga.DolH1419of the formerהָ֣רִאשׁ֔וֹןha.ri.ShonH7223,saithנְאֻ֖םne.'UmH5002the Lordיְהוָ֣הYah.wehH3068of hostsצְבָא֑וֹתtze.va.'otH6635:and in this placeוּבַמָּק֤וֹםu.va.ma.KomH4725will I giveאֶתֵּ֣ן'e.TenH5414peaceשָׁל֔וֹםsha.LomH7965,saithאָמַ֖ר'a.MarH559the Lordיְהוָ֥הYah.wehH3068of hostsצְבָאֽוֹת׃ פtze.va.'otH6635.
