4And for the houseלַבָּ֔יִתla.Ba.yitH1004he madeוַיַּ֣עַשׂvai.Ya.'asH6213windowsחַלּוֹנֵ֖יcha.lo.NeiH2474of narrowאֲטֻמִֽים׃'a.tu.MimH331lightsשְׁקֻפִ֥יםshe.ku.FimH8261.

5And against the wallקִ֨ירkirH7023of the houseהַבַּ֤יִתha.Ba.yitH1004he builtוַיִּבֶן֩vai.yi.VenH1129chambersיָצִ֙יעַ֙ya.tzo.a'H3326round aboutסָבִ֔יבsa.VivH5439, againstthe wallsקִיר֤וֹתki.RotH7023of the houseהַבַּ֙יִת֙ha.Ba.yitH1004round aboutסָבִ֔יבsa.VivH5439, bothof the templeלַֽהֵיכָ֖לla.hei.KhalH1964and of the oracleוְלַדְּבִ֑ירve.la.de.VirH1687:and he madeוַיַּ֥עַשׂvai.Ya.'asH6213chambersצְלָע֖וֹתtze.la.'otH6763round aboutסָבִֽיב׃sa.VivH5439:

7And the houseוְהַבַּ֙יִת֙ve.ha.Ba.yitH1004,when it was in buildingבְּהִבָּ֣נֹת֔וֹbe.hi.Ba.no.ToH1129,was builtנִבְנָ֑הniv.NahH1129of stoneאֶֽבֶן־'e.ven-H68made readyשְׁלֵמָ֥הshe.le.MahH8003before it was broughtמַסָּ֖עma.Sa'H4551thither: so that there was neither hammerוּמַקָּב֤וֹתu.ma.ka.VotH4717nor axeוְהַגַּרְזֶן֙ve.ha.gar.ZenH1631norany toolכְּלִ֣יke.LiH3627of ironבַרְזֶ֔לvar.ZelH1270heardנִשְׁמַ֥עnish.Ma'H8085in the houseבַּבַּ֖יִתba.Ba.yitH1004,while it was in buildingבְּהִבָּנֹתֽוֹ׃be.hi.ba.no.ToH1129.

8The doorפֶּ֗תַחPe.tachH6607for the middleהַתִּ֣יכֹנָ֔הha.Ti.kho.NahH8484chamberהַצֵּלָע֙ha.tze.La'H6763wasin the rightהַיְמָנִ֑יתhay.ma.NitH3233sideכֶּ֥תֶףKe.tefH3802of the houseהַבַּ֖יִתha.Ba.yitH1004:and they went upיַֽעֲלוּ֙ya.'a.LuH5927with winding stairsוּבְלוּלִּ֗יםu.ve.lu.LimH3883into the middleהַתִּ֣יכֹנָ֔הha.Ti.kho.NahH8484chamber,and out of the middleהַתִּֽיכֹנָ֖הha.ti.kho.NahH8484into the thirdהַשְּׁלִשִֽׁים׃ha.she.li.ShimH7992.

9So he builtוַיִּ֥בֶןvai.Yi.venH1129the houseהַבַּ֖יִתha.Ba.yitH1004,and finishedוַיְכַלֵּ֑הוּvay.kha.Le.huH3615it; and coveredוַיִּסְפֹּ֤ןvai.yis.PonH5603the houseהַבַּ֙יִת֙ha.Ba.yitH1004with beamsגֵּבִ֔יםge.VimH1356and boardsוּשְׂדֵרֹ֖תu.se.de.RotH7713of cedarבָּאֲרָזִֽים׃ba.'a.ra.ZimH730.

10And thenhe builtוַיִּ֤בֶןvai.Yi.venH1129chambersהַיָּצִ֙יעַ֙hai.ya.tzo.a'H3326against all the houseהַבַּ֔יִתha.Ba.yitH1004,fiveחָמֵ֥שׁcha.MeshH2568cubitsאַמּ֖וֹת'a.MotH520highקֽוֹמָת֑וֹko.ma.ToH6967:and they restedוַיֶּאֱחֹ֥זvai.ye.'e.ChozH270on the houseהַבַּ֖יִתha.Ba.yitH1004withtimberבַּעֲצֵ֥יba.'a.TzeiH6086of cedarאֲרָזִֽים׃ פ'a.ra.ZimH730.

11And the wordדְּבַר־de.var-H1697of the Lordיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068came to Solomonשְׁלֹמֹ֖הshe.lo.MohH8010,sayingלֵאמֹֽר׃le.MorH559,

12Concerningthis houseהַבַּ֨יִתha.Ba.yitH1004which thou art in buildingבֹנֶ֗הvo.NehH1129,if thou wilt walkH3212in my statutesבְּחֻקֹּתַי֙be.chu.ko.TaiH2708,and executeתַּֽעֲשֶׂ֔הta.'a.SehH6213my judgmentsמִשְׁפָּטַ֣יmish.pa.TaiH4941,and keepוְשָׁמַרְתָּ֥ve.sha.mar.TaH8104all my commandmentsמִצְוֹתַ֖יmitz.vo.TaiH4687to walkH3212in them; then will I performוַהֲקִמֹתִ֤יva.ha.ki.mo.TiH6965my wordדְּבָרִי֙de.va.RiH1697with thee, which I spakeדִּבַּ֖רְתִּיdi.Bar.tiH1696unto Davidדָּוִ֥דda.VidH1732thy fatherאָבִֽיךָ׃'a.Vi.khaH1:

13And I will dwellוְשָׁ֣כַנְתִּ֔יve.Sha.khan.TiH7931amongבְּת֖וֹךְbe.TokhH8432the childrenבְּנֵ֣יbe.NeiH1121of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֑לYis.ra.'ElH3478,and will not forsakeאֶעֱזֹ֖ב'e.'e.ZoH5800my peopleעַמִּ֥י'a.MiH5971Israelיִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ סYis.ra.'ElH3478.

14So Solomonשְׁלֹמֹ֛הshe.lo.MohH8010builtוַיִּ֧בֶןvai.Yi.venH1129the houseהַבַּ֖יִתha.Ba.yitH1004,and finishedוַיְכַלֵּֽהוּ׃vay.kha.Le.huH3615it.

15And he builtוַיִּבֶן֩vai.yi.VenH1129the wallsקִיר֨וֹתki.RotH7023of the houseהַבַּ֤יִתha.Ba.yitH1004withinמִבַּ֙יְתָה֙mi.Bay.tahH1004with boardsבְּצַלְע֣וֹתbe.tzal.'otH6763of cedarאֲרָזִ֔ים'a.ra.ZimH730,both the floorמִקַּרְקַ֤עmi.kar.Ka'H7172of the houseהַבַּ֙יִת֙ha.Ba.yitH1004,and the wallsקִיר֣וֹתki.RotH7023of the cielingהַסִּפֻּ֔ןha.si.PunH5604: andhe coveredצִפָּ֥הtzi.PahH6823themon the insideמִבָּ֑יִתmi.Ba.yitH1004with woodעֵ֖ץ'etzH6086,and coveredוַיְצַ֛ףvay.TzafH6823the floorקַרְקַ֥עkar.Ka'H7172of the houseהַבַּ֖יִתha.Ba.yitH1004with planksבְּצַלְע֥וֹתbe.tzal.'otH6763of firבְּרוֹשִֽׁים׃be.ro.ShimH1265.

16And he builtוַיִּבֶן֩vai.yi.VenH1129twentyעֶשְׂרִ֨ים'es.RimH6242cubitsאַמָּ֜ה'a.MahH520on the sidesמִֽיַּרְכְּתֵ֤יmi.yar.ko.teiH3411of the houseהַבַּ֙יִת֙ha.Ba.yitH1004,bothמִן־min-H4480the floorהַקַּרְקַ֖עha.kar.Ka'H7172and the wallsהַקִּיר֑וֹתha.ki.RotH7023with boardsבְּצַלְע֣וֹתbe.tzal.'otH6763of cedarאֲרָזִ֔ים'a.ra.ZimH730:he even builtוַיִּ֤בֶןvai.Yi.venH1129themfor it withinמִבַּ֣יִתmi.Ba.yitH1004, evenfor the oracleלִדְבִ֔ירlid.VirH1687, evenfor the mostלְקֹ֖דֶשׁle.Ko.deshH6944holyהַקֳּדָשִֽׁים׃ha.ko.da.ShimH6944place.

18And the cedarוְאֶ֤רֶזve.'E.rezH730of the houseהַבַּ֙יִת֙ha.Ba.yitH1004withinפְּנִ֔ימָהpe.Ni.mahH6441wascarvedמִקְלַ֣עַתmik.La.'atH4734with knopsפְּקָעִ֔יםpe.ka.'ImH6497and openוּפְטוּרֵ֖יu.fe.tu.ReiH6362flowersצִצִּ֑יםtzi.TzimH6731: all wascedarאֶ֔רֶז'E.rezH730;there was no stoneאֶ֖בֶן'E.venH68seenנִרְאָֽה׃nir.'AhH7200.

19And the oracleוּדְבִ֧ירu.de.VirH1687he preparedהֵכִ֑יןhe.KhinH3559inבְּתוֹךְ־be.tokh-H8432the houseהַבַּ֛יִתha.Ba.yitH1004withinמִפְּנִ֖ימָהmi.pe.Ni.mahH6441,to setלְתִתֵּ֣ןle.ti.TenH5414there the arkאֲר֖וֹן'a.RonH727of the covenantבְּרִ֥יתbe.RitH1285of the Lordיְהוָֽה׃Yah.wehH3068.

21So Solomonשְׁלֹמֹ֧הshe.lo.MohH8010overlaidוַיְצַ֨ףvay.TzafH6823the houseהַבַּ֛יִתha.Ba.yitH1004withinמִפְּנִ֖ימָהmi.pe.Ni.mahH6441with pureסָג֑וּרsa.GurH5462goldזָהָ֣בza.HavH2091:and he made a partitionוַיְעַבֵּ֞רvay.'a.BerH5674by the chainsH7572of goldזָהָב֙za.HavH2091beforeלִפְנֵ֣יlif.NeiH6440the oracleהַדְּבִ֔ירha.de.VirH1687;and he overlaidוַיְצַפֵּ֖הוּvay.tza.Pe.huH6823it with goldזָהָֽב׃za.HavH2091.

22And the whole houseהַבַּ֛יִתha.Ba.yitH1004he overlaidצִפָּ֥הtzi.PahH6823with goldזָהָ֖בza.HavH2091,until he had finishedתֹּ֣םtomH8552all the houseהַבָּ֑יִתha.Ba.yitH1004:also the whole altarהַמִּזְבֵּ֥חַha.miz.Be.achH4196that wasby the oracleלַדְּבִ֖ירla.de.VirH1687he overlaidצִפָּ֥הtzi.PahH6823with goldזָהָֽב׃za.HavH2091.
