1 Kings 17:17-23

17And it came to pass afterאַחַר֙'a.CharH310these thingsהַדְּבָרִ֣יםha.de.va.RimH1697, thatthe sonבֶּן־ben-H1121of the womanהָאִשָּׁ֖הha.'i.ShahH802,the mistressבַּעֲלַ֣תba.'a.LatH1172of the houseהַבָּ֑יִתha.Ba.yitH1004,fell sickחָלָ֕הcha.LahH2470;and his sicknessחָלְיוֹ֙chal.YoH2483was soמְאֹ֔דme.'OdH3966soreחָזָ֣קcha.ZakH2389,that there was no breathנְשָׁמָֽה׃ne.sha.MahH5397leftנֽוֹתְרָה־not.rah-H3498in him.

18And she saidוַתֹּ֙אמֶר֙va.To.merH559unto Elijahאֵ֣לִיָּ֔הוּ'e.li.Ya.huH452,What have I to do with thee, O thou manאִ֣ישׁ'ishH376of Godהָאֱלֹהִ֑יםha.'E.lo.HimH430?art thou comeבָּ֧אתָBa.taH935unto me to callH2142my sinעֲוֹנִ֖י'a.vo.NiH5771to remembranceלְהַזְכִּ֥ירle.haz.KirH2142,and to slayוּלְהָמִ֥יתu.le.ha.MitH4191my sonבְּנִֽי׃be.NiH1121?

19And he saidוַיֹּ֥אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559unto her, Giveתְּנִֽי־te.ni-H5414me thy sonבְּנֵ֑ךְbe.NekhH1121.And he tookוַיִּקָּחֵ֣הוּvai.yi.ka.Che.huH3947him out of her bosomמֵחֵיקָ֗הּme.chei.KahH2436,and carried him upוַֽיַּעֲלֵ֙הוּ֙vai.ya.'a.Le.huH5927into a loftהָעֲלִיָּ֗הha.'a.li.YahH5944,where he abodeיֹשֵׁ֣בyo.ShevH3427,and laidוַיַּשְׁכִּבֵ֖הוּvai.yash.ki.Ve.huH7901him upon his own bedמִטָּתֽוֹ׃mi.ta.ToH4296.

20And he criedוַיִּקְרָ֥אvai.yik.Ra'H7121unto the Lordיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068,and saidוַיֹּאמַ֑רvai.yo.MarH559,O Lordיְהוָ֣הYah.wehH3068my Godאֱלֹהָ֔י'e.lo.HaiH430,hast thou also brought evilהֲרֵע֖וֹתָha.re.'o.taH7489upon the widowהָאַלְמָנָ֞הha.'al.ma.NahH490with whom I sojournמִתְגּוֹרֵ֥רmit.go.RerH1481,by slayingלְהָמִ֥יתle.ha.MitH4191her sonבְּנָֽהּ׃be.NahH1121?

21And he stretchedוַיִּתְמֹדֵ֤דvai.yit.mo.DedH4058himself upon the childהַיֶּ֙לֶד֙hai.Ye.ledH3206threeשָׁלֹ֣שׁsha.LoshH7969timesפְּעָמִ֔יםpe.'a.MimH6471,and criedוַיִּקְרָ֥אvai.yik.Ra'H7121unto the Lordיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068,and saidוַיֹּאמַ֑רvai.yo.MarH559,O Lordיְהוָ֣הYah.wehH3068my Godאֱלֹהָ֔י'e.lo.HaiH430,I pray thee, let this child’sהַיֶּ֥לֶדhai.Ye.ledH3206soulנֶֽפֶשׁ־ne.fesh-H5315comeH7725into himקִרְבּֽוֹ׃kir.BoH7130againH7725.

22And the Lordיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068heardוַיִּשְׁמַ֥עvai.yish.Ma'H8085the voiceבְּק֣וֹלbe.KolH6963of Elijahאֵלִיָּ֑הוּ'e.li.Ya.huH452;and the soulנֶֽפֶשׁ־ne.fesh-H5315of the childהַיֶּ֛לֶדhai.Ye.ledH3206cameH7725into himקִרְבּ֖וֹkir.BoH7130againH7725,and he revivedוַיֶּֽחִי׃vai.Ye.chiH2421.

23And Elijahאֵלִיָּ֜הוּ'e.li.Ya.huH452tookוַיִּקַּ֨חvai.yi.KachH3947the childהַיֶּ֗לֶדhai.Ye.ledH3206,and brought him downוַיֹּרִדֵ֤הוּvai.yo.ri.De.huH3381out of the chamberהָעֲלִיָּה֙ha.'a.li.YahH5944into the houseהַבַּ֔יְתָהha.Bay.tahH1004,and deliveredוַֽיִּתְּנֵ֖הוּvai.yi.te.Ne.huH5414him unto his motherלְאִמּ֑וֹle.'i.MoH517:and Elijahאֵ֣לִיָּ֔הוּ'e.li.Ya.huH452saidוַיֹּ֙אמֶר֙vai.Yo.merH559,Seeרְאִ֖יre.'IH7200,thy sonבְּנֵֽךְ׃be.NekhH1121livethחַ֥יchaiH2416.
