And his mother’sאִמּ֔וֹ'i.MoH517nameוְשֵׁ֣םve.ShemH8034wasNaamahנַעֲמָ֖הna.'a.MahH5279an AmmonitessH5985.

22And Judahיְהוּדָ֛הye.hu.DahH3063didוַיַּ֧עַשׂvai.Ya.'asH6213evilהָרַ֖עha.Ra'H7451in the sightבְּעֵינֵ֣יbe.'ei.NeiH5869of the Lordיְהוָ֑הYah.wehH3068,and they provoked him to jealousyוַיְקַנְא֣וּvay.kan.'UH7065with their sinsבְּחַטֹּאתָ֖םbe.cha.to.TamH2403which they had committedחָטָֽאוּ׃cha.Ta.'uH2398,above all that their fathersאֲבֹתָ֔ם'a.vo.TamH1had doneעָשׂ֣וּ'a.SuH6213.

23For they also builtוַיִּבְנ֨וּvai.yiv.NuH1129them high placesבָּמ֥וֹתba.MotH1116,and imagesוּמַצֵּב֖וֹתu.ma.tze.VotH4676,and grovesוַאֲשֵׁרִ֑יםva.'a.she.RimH842,on every highגְבֹהָ֔הge.vo.HahH1364hillגִּבְעָ֣הgiv.'AhH1389,and under every greenרַעֲנָֽן׃ra.'a.NanH7488treeעֵ֥ץ'etzH6086.

24And there were also sodomitesקָדֵ֖שׁka.DeshH6945in the landבָאָ֑רֶץva.'A.retzH776: andthey didעָשׂ֗וּ'a.SuH6213according to all the abominationsהַתּוֹעֲבֹ֣תha.to.'a.VotH8441of the nationsהַגּוֹיִ֔םha.go.YimH1471which the Lordיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068cast outהוֹרִ֣ישׁho.RishH3423beforeמִפְּנֵ֖יmi.pe.NeiH6440the childrenבְּנֵ֥יbe.NeiH1121of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ פYis.ra.'ElH3478.

25And it came to pass in the fifthהַחֲמִישִׁ֖יתha.cha.mi.ShitH2549yearבַּשָּׁנָ֥הba.sha.NahH8141of kingלַמֶּ֣לֶךְla.Me.lekhH4428Rehoboamרְחַבְעָ֑םre.chav.'AmH7346, thatShishakשִׁישַׁ֥קshu.shakH7895kingמֶֽלֶךְ־Me.lekh-H4428of Egyptמִצְרַ֖יִםmitz.Ra.yimH4714came upעָלָ֛ה'a.LahH5927against Jerusalemיְרוּשָׁלִָֽם׃ye.ru.sha.LimH3389:

26And he took awayוַיִּקַּ֞חvai.yi.KachH3947the treasuresאֹצְר֣וֹת'o.tze.RotH214of the houseבֵּית־beit-H1004of the Lordיְהוָ֗הYah.wehH3068,and the treasuresאֽוֹצְרוֹת֙'otz.rOtH214of the king’sהַמֶּ֔לֶךְha.Me.lekhH4428houseבֵּ֣יתbeitH1004;he even took awayלָקָ֑חla.KachH3947all: and he took awayוַיִּקַּח֙vai.yi.KachH3947all the shieldsמָגִנֵּ֣יma.gi.NeiH4043of goldהַזָּהָ֔בha.za.HavH2091which Solomonשְׁלֹמֹֽה׃she.lo.MohH8010had madeעָשָׂ֖ה'a.SahH6213.

27And kingהַמֶּ֤לֶךְha.Me.lekhH4428Rehoboamרְחַבְעָם֙re.chav.'AmH7346madeוַיַּ֨עַשׂvai.Ya.'asH6213in their stead brasenנְחֹ֑שֶׁתne.Cho.shetH5178shieldsמָגִנֵּ֖יma.gi.NeiH4043,and committedוְהִפְקִ֗ידve.hif.KidH6485themunto the handsיַד֙yadH3027of the chiefשָׂרֵ֣יsa.ReiH8269of the guardהָרָצִ֔יםha.ra.TzimH7323,which keptהַשֹּׁ֣מְרִ֔יםha.Sho.me.RimH8104the doorפֶּ֖תַחPe.tachH6607of the king’sהַמֶּֽלֶךְ׃ha.Me.lekhH4428houseבֵּ֥יתbeitH1004.

28And it was so,whenמִדֵּי־mi.dei-H1767the kingהַמֶּ֖לֶךְha.Me.lekhH4428wentבֹ֥אvo'H935into the houseבֵּ֣יתbeitH1004of the Lordיְהוָ֑הYah.wehH3068,that the guardהָֽרָצִ֔יםha.ra.TzimH7323bareיִשָּׂאוּם֙yi.sa.'UmH5375them, and brought them backוֶהֱשִׁיב֖וּםve.he.shi.VumH7725into the guardהָרָצִֽים׃ha.ra.TzimH7323chamberתָּ֥אta'H8372.

29Now the restוְיֶ֛תֶרve.Ye.terH3499of the actsדִּבְרֵ֥יdiv.ReiH1697of Rehoboamרְחַבְעָ֖םre.chav.'AmH7346,and all that he didעָשָׂ֑ה'a.SahH6213, arethey not writtenכְתוּבִ֗יםkhe.tu.VimH3789in the bookסֵ֛פֶרSe.ferH5612of the chroniclesדִּבְרֵ֥י הַיָּמִ֖יםdiv.Rei hai.ya.MimH3117 H1697of the kingsלְמַלְכֵ֥יle.mal.KheiH4428of Judahיְהוּדָֽה׃ye.hu.DahH3063?

30And there was warוּמִלְחָמָ֨הu.mil.cha.MahH4421between Rehoboamרְחַבְעָ֛םre.chav.'AmH7346and Jeroboamיָרָבְעָ֖םya.ra.ve.'AmH3379all theirdaysהַיָּמִֽים׃hai.ya.MimH3117.

31And Rehoboamרְחַבְעָ֜םre.chav.'AmH7346sleptוַיִּשְׁכַּ֨בvai.yish.KavH7901with his fathersאֲבֹתָ֗יו'a.vo.TavH1,and was buriedוַיִּקָּבֵ֤רvai.yi.ka.VerH6912with his fathersאֲבֹתָיו֙'a.vo.TavH1in the cityבְּעִ֣ירbe.'IrH5892of Davidדָּוִ֔דda.VidH1732.And his mother’sאִמּ֔וֹ'i.MoH517nameוְשֵׁ֣םve.ShemH8034wasNaamahנַעֲמָ֖הna.'a.MahH5279an AmmonitessH5985.And Abijamאֲבִיָּ֥ם'a.vi.YamH38his sonבְּנ֖וֹbe.NoH1121reignedוַיִּמְלֹ֛ךְvai.yim.LokhH4427in his stead.
