27If this peopleהָעָ֣םha.'AmH5971go upיַעֲלֶ֣ה׀ya.'a.LehH5927to doלַעֲשׂ֨וֹתla.'a.SotH6213sacrificeזְבָחִ֤יםze.va.ChimH2077in the houseבְּבֵית־be.veit-H1004of the Lordיְהוָה֙Yah.wehH3068at Jerusalemבִּיר֣וּשָׁלִַ֔םbi.Ru.sha.LimH3389,then shall the heartלֵ֣בlevH3820of this peopleהָעָ֤םha.'AmH5971turn againוְ֠שָׁבve.shoH7725unto their lordאֲדֹ֣נֵיהֶ֔ם'a.Do.nei.HemH113, evenunto Rehoboamרְחַבְעָ֖םre.chav.'AmH7346kingמֶ֣לֶךְMe.lekhH4428of Judahיְהוּדָ֑הye.hu.DahH3063,and they shall killוַהֲרָגֻ֕נִיva.ha.ra.Gu.niH2026me, and go againוְשָׁ֖בוּve.Sha.vuH7725to Rehoboamרְחַבְעָ֥םre.chav.'AmH7346kingמֶֽלֶךְ־Me.lekh-H4428of Judahיְהוּדָֽה׃ye.hu.DahH3063.

28Whereupon the kingהַמֶּ֔לֶךְha.Me.lekhH4428took counselוַיִּוָּעַ֣ץvai.yi.va.'AtzH3289,and madeוַיַּ֕עַשׂvai.Ya.'asH6213twoשְׁנֵ֖יshe.NeiH8147calvesעֶגְלֵ֣י'eg.LeiH5695ofgoldזָהָ֑בza.HavH2091,and saidוַיֹּ֣אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559unto them, It is too muchרַב־rav-H7227for you to go upמֵעֲל֣וֹתme.'a.LotH5927to Jerusalemיְרוּשָׁלִַ֔םye.ru.sha.LimH3389:behold thy godsאֱלֹהֶ֙יךָ֙'e.lo.Hei.khaH430,O Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֔לYis.ra.'ElH3478,which brought thee upהֶעֱל֖וּךָhe.'e.Lu.khaH5927out of the landמֵאֶ֥רֶץme.'E.retzH776of Egyptמִצְרָֽיִם׃mitz.Ra.yimH4714.

29And he setוַיָּ֥שֶׂםvai.Ya.semH7760the oneהָאֶחָ֖דha.'e.ChadH259in Beth–elH1008,and the otherהָאֶחָ֖דha.'e.ChadH259putנָתַ֥ןna.TanH5414he in Danבְּדָֽן׃be.DanH1835.

30And this thingהַדָּבָ֥רha.da.VarH1697became a sinלְחַטָּ֑אתle.cha.TatH2403:for the peopleהָעָ֛םha.'AmH5971wentH3212to worshipbeforeלִפְנֵ֥יlif.NeiH6440the oneהָאֶחָ֖דha.'e.ChadH259, evenunto Danדָּֽן׃DanH1835.

31And he madeוַיַּ֖עַשׂvai.Ya.'asH6213an houseבֵּ֣יתbeitH1004of high placesבָּמ֑וֹתba.MotH1116,and madeוַיַּ֤עַשׂvai.Ya.'asH6213priestsכֹּֽהֲנִים֙ko.ha.NimH3548of the lowestמִקְצ֣וֹתmik.TzotH7098of the peopleהָעָ֔םha.'AmH5971,which were not of the sonsמִבְּנֵ֥יmi.be.NeiH1121of Leviלֵוִֽי׃le.ViH3878.

32And Jeroboamיָרָבְעָ֣ם׀ya.ra.ve.'AmH3379ordainedוַיַּ֣עַשׂvai.Ya.'asH6213a feastחָ֡גchagH2282in the eighthהַשְּׁמִינִ֣יha.she.mi.NiH8066monthבַּחֹ֣דֶשׁba.Cho.deshH2320,on the fifteenthבַּחֲמִשָּֽׁה־ עָשָׂר֩ba.cha.mi.shah- 'a.SarH6240 H2568dayי֨וֹם׀YomH3117of the monthלַחֹ֜דֶשׁla.Cho.deshH2320,like unto the feastכֶּחָ֣ג׀ke.ChagH2282that isin Judahבִּיהוּדָ֗הbi.hu.DahH3063,and he offeredוַיַּ֙עַל֙vai.Ya.'alH5927upon the altarהַמִּזְבֵּ֔חַha.miz.Be.achH4196.So didעָשָׂה֙'a.SahH6213he in Beth–elH1008,sacrificingלְזַבֵּ֖חַle.za.Be.achH2076unto the calvesלָעֲגָלִ֣יםla.'a.ga.LimH5695that he had madeעָשָׂ֑ה'a.SahH6213:and he placedוְהֶעֱמִיד֙ve.he.'e.MidH5975in Beth–elH1008the priestsכֹּהֲנֵ֥יko.ha.NeiH3548of the high placesהַבָּמ֖וֹתha.ba.MotH1116which he had madeעָשָֽׂה׃'a.SahH6213.

33So he offeredוַיַּ֜עַלvai.Ya.'alH5927upon the altarהַמִּזְבֵּ֣חַ׀ha.miz.Be.achH4196which he had madeעָשָׂ֣ה'a.SahH6213in Beth–elH1008the fifteenthבַּחֲמִשָּׁ֨ה עָשָׂ֥רba.cha.mi.Shah 'a.SarH6240 H2568dayיוֹם֙yOmH3117of the eighthהַשְּׁמִינִ֔יha.she.mi.NiH8066monthבַּחֹ֣דֶשׁba.Cho.deshH2320, evenin the monthבַּחֹ֖דֶשׁba.Cho.deshH2320which he had devisedבָּדָ֣אba.Da'H908of his own heartמִלִּבּ֑וֹmi.lib.oH3820;and ordainedוַיַּ֤עַשׂvai.Ya.'asH6213a feastחָג֙chagH2282unto the childrenלִבְנֵ֣יliv.NeiH1121of Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֔לYis.ra.'ElH3478:and he offeredוַיַּ֥עַלvai.Ya.'alH5927upon the altarהַמִּזְבֵּ֖חַha.miz.Be.achH4196,and burnt incenseלְהַקְטִֽיר׃ פle.hak.TirH6999.
