Context of Luke 4:14

12And Jesus answered him, “It is said: Do not test the Lord your God.” 13After the devil had finished every temptation, he departed from him for a time. Then Jesus returned to Galilee in the power of the Spirit, and news about him spread throughout the entire vicinity. 15He was teaching in their synagogues, being praised by everyone. 16He came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up. As usual, he entered the synagogue on the Sabbath day and stood up to read.
