1Et c’est en ce temps : Iehouda descend de chez ses frères. Il tend jusque chez un homme d’’Adoulâm. Son nom, Hira.

2Iehouda voit là la fille d’un homme, un Kena’ani. Son nom Shoua’. Il la prend et vient à elle.

3Enceinte, elle enfante un fils. Il crie son nom, ’Ér.

4Enceinte encore, elle enfante un fils. Elle crie son nom, Onân.

5Elle ajoute encore, et enfante un fils. Elle crie son nom, Shéla. Il était à Kezib, quand elle l’enfante.
