Context of Ephesians 5:20
18Do not get drunk with wine, for that is wickedness (corruption, stupidity), but be filled with the [Holy] Spirit and constantly guided by Him. 19Speak to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, [offering praise by] singing and making melody with your heart to the Lord; always giving thanks to God the Father for all things, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ; 21being subject to one another out of reverence for Christ. 22Wives, be subject to your own husbands, as [a service] to the Lord.
