Context of Luke 12:53

51“Do you suppose that I have come to bring shalom on earth? No, I tell you, but rather division. 52From now on there will be five in one house in opposition, three against two and two against three. They will be divided, father against son and son against father, mother against daughter and daughter against mother, mother-in-law against daughter-in-law and daughter-in-law against mother-in-law.” 54Then He also was saying to the crowds, “When you see a cloud rising in the west, instantly you say, ‘A rainstorm is coming’—and so it is. 55And when a south wind is blowing, you say, ‘It will be a scorcher’—and so it is.
