Context of Luke 5:27

25And immediately he arose before them, and took up what he had been laying on, and departed to his own house, glorifying God. 26And they were all amazed, and they glorified God, and were filled with fear, saying, We have seen strange things to day. And after these things he went forth, and saw a tax collector, named Levi, sitting at the tax office: and he said to him, Follow me. 28And he left all, rose up, and followed him. 29And Levi made him a great feast in his own house: and there was a great company of tax collectors and of others that sat down with them.
